You played this fine, just got unlucky which will happen ~30% of the time KK goes to showdown w/ AQ.

Obviously just got unlucky and probably more of a bad beat section post but one thing I would do differently is raise more preflop. While 3x is standard you can easily bump that to 4 or 5 and these levels from what I have seen many people who call .06 are calling .08 or .10.
