I agree with what you have said but the idea of the website is to bring all the advice and tips together in a one stop place. The $29.95 annual membership is not expensive when you consider it is less than a buy in to one tournamnet. I play in a lot of live Tournaments generally starting around 9.00pm and finish around 5.00am the next morning, To be able to cash in these events, you need physical and mental stamina. I often see players yawning and when they become tired, they make mistakes and I take advantage of this. My poker playing has improved al lot since I have improved my fitness levels. You only have to look at other sports such as Tiger Woods in Golf, Phil Taylor in darts and Peter Ebdon in Snooker. If you want to improve your game then what we are doing at Pokerfitclub.com must help.
I'm not sure but I think there are rules against trolling this forum for members to other sites and forums.
Now cry me a river. Boo-freakin'-hoo! Poor defenseless little live tournament players can't handle a reasonably long tournament with amenities and proper breaks. Quick call the wahmbulance because they must start hemorrhaging from their paper cuts too.
I'm sorry but it's BS. Poker's not a sport. It's a game of skill and strategy with elements of luck and wagering. However, to call it a sport you'd have to add something. Maybe if the with stacks below a certain size had to sprint around the block a few times with the top 3 finishers moving on to the next level we could call poker a sport. Someone suggested a duck-duck-goose round, and I wish it was full contact. It'd be great if you could just drop kick anybody who gets in your way or sucks out on you with a 1 outer w/o
odds, but that just ain't gonna happen.
Be glad it's not a sport, and merely a competitive game. This way people of any sex(I swear I see a third and fourth sex on television all the time), physical prowess, and age, can compete against each other. It's reassuring to see an old guy in a wheelchair whose grandson has to stack his chips for him playing. You know you'll never be too old or too shakey for the game you love. And it's pretty inspirational to see someone without arms, legs, or the gift of sight play too. Trust me, these folks frequently couldn't play in other games, but this they can play.
Online at no stakes you have to plow through 2k+ players just to get paid. Once you're at the $1 level you can play in a double stack tournament with a field of 8k+ players where right about 1k get paid, but who just wants to get paid? And with a field of over eight thousand players, you have to stay awake and play for right around 8 hours with miniscule breaks and blinds that escalate every 10mins.
So pardon me for tellin' ya to get a grip. It's not a sport, live players aren't better people or players than online and vice-versa, oh and yawning can be merely an indicator of boredom. Just so ya know. Wouldn't want ya stepping in an obvious trap there.
$29.95 for information collected and put in one place? At that price, something doesn't smell right. Full Tilt offers a pretty comprehensive level of poker training for free if you can sit through the Kristy Gazes lesson without laughing till you collapse into a coma "It's cheese but I'll play it anyway cuz I love cheese, squeak-squeak"(paraphrased from Kristy's lesson). Again, sites offer this stuff for free. Pros put up their vlogs and tips and there are articles of interest which explain it for free. Any enthusiast of the game will have it all in one place for free in no time.
Something just stinks about that price tag. Sure you pay 4 times as much and more at some sites. But when you do, it's not for a compilation. It's for real lessons, sometimes private lessons or troubleshooting are included. I'm actually going to give u a bit of traffic, but not business, cuz something about this reeks of somebody not getting paid what they're owed.
