One of the hardest concepts for alot of players to learn is that once those chips are in the pot they no longer are yours, most new players are basically in for a penny in for a pound! They think they since they are already invested that they need to go ahead and throw some more loot at the pot. J8 suited heads up is not a strong hand. The guy wasn't a skilled player if he was he would have dumped because with just you and him in the hand, the pot odds
in no way justified that call! Remember once that bet is in the pot it is no longer yours it belongs to the pot! Base your calls,folds, and raises on the POT not what you already have invested! No such thing as being pot commited unless all your chips are out there
