Which form of pokr are you the worst at? Stud? Omaha? Hold em? Heads Up Hold em? Draw? Razz? Hi/Lo? For me, it's definitely Omaha. I know the rulkes and know how to play, but when it comes ot strategy I'm lost.:(

I'm going to go with Omaha H/L 8. I think my weakness comes from not wanting to play very high stakes so I wind up with way too many limpers in the pot that suck out simply because of the variety of cards that can be played. At best, I wind up splitting pots, rarely scooping the whole thing.

I personnally would take regular Omaha anyday compared that.

I gotta say Stud. In Omaha and Hold'em it's easy to compare your drawing odds to your pot odds. Number of outs divided by 47 or 46 unseen cards in Hold'em, 45 and 44 in Omaha. In stud the number of unseens is never the same.

I'm in the same boat as FourDogs. When it comes to Stud, I am completely lost. I don't know what the average winning hand is or anything. That's why I suggested an article on the game :D

PS- Thanks for submitting a rough draft to Nick T1riel!!!

I think that my worst game would be anything hi/lo. I havnt played this type of game much whether it be omaha or stud. I get too confused with the hands and lose some which I still wouldnt understand. Maybe I should play these games more, but hard to play these games for awhile when you dont really understand them.

Mine is Limit Hold-em even though the beats are easier to take in my opinion cause it may not cost as much as it would in No Limit.

I'm worst at Razz because I've never played it!

Also pretty bad at PLO8 - haven't quite got used to this "folding the nuts on the flop" business.

I've just been getting into limit Omaha Hi this weekend. I've hardly played it before, but at the low limits the competition is just so incredibly soft, I've been doing pretty well. :)

I ****in suck at go fish...never win that damn game.

Truthfully though, I think I'm worst at Stud games because of my inexperience with them. I never have the first clue what types of hands to play, when to chase, and wtf I'm doing in general . Next on the list is probably Omaha, then OH8.

I see alot of players say the have trouble with stud which kind of surprises me, but I'm an old man and that's all we used to play before everybody "discovered" poker.

Some small advice about stud I thought I'd share if any one cares:

The average winning hand in 7 card stud is trip 7s.
Don't play 2 card straight or flush cards (i.e. you are dealt Kd, 9d, 3s), the reason, you have to chase too many cards to make your hand. Chasing in stud is death.

Push High pairs but pay attendtion to the other players. If you have 2 jacks in the hole and someone with a King showing reraises you there is a very strong change you are beat, don't be afraid to fold pocket pairs to raises.

Memorize the cards that come up and factor in the cards showing to your decisions. For instance you have 2 sevens in the first 3 cards but 2 other players had 7s showing it's going to be very difficult for you to win the hand. Same with flush and straight draws, you have to know what cards are out there that can help you. You also need to know what cards are out that can help you opponents. For instance, your opponent shows 3 spades and is betting representing a flush (which is a very common thing to do in stud), it's important to know how many spades are left. If you have 2 spades in your hand and you counted 8 other spades from folded hands, then you know your opponent is bluffing.

Well, I will stop my rambling for now, I hope this helped someone.

One last thing in stud and all limit games, ALWAYS BET WHEN YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE THE BEST HAND. Don't slow play (except in some rare occurences) BET, BET, BET. There is usually some donk that will chase, make them pay. NEVER EVER EVER GIVE FREE CARDS WITHOUT THE ABSOLUTE NUTS.

although mrsnake has somewhat lucidated the idea of stud for me, i'd still say it's my worst game. i always end up trying to play it like draw, and it screws me over every time.

Well I play way too many games pretty saavy with all of those including 2-7 lowball and 5 card draw. I guess my weakest game might be NL hold'em since I can't stand taking beats and start to play crappy whenever I do take one.

Okay, I'm changing my vote. After playing $1/$2 Limit Uno this weekend in a drunken stupor, I'm making that my weakness. I don't think I even remember all of the rules we made up, but I'm going to have to do more serious odds checking to figure out how to play this if we ever try again.

Hold 'Em cash games, for a variety of reasons, are just never friendly to me. SnG and MTT satellites, however, I'm much more successful at - I've said it before, but I think I'm too much of a TAG player (although I'm more than willing on occasion to bet at hands holding total snow) to be good at cash NLHE.

Omaha easily. You get dealt AKQ5 and it seems as if its a killer hand but really its a bad hand if you dont flop anything. Their is way to much figuring out and way to much calculation. You have to have at least 3 of a kind to win a pot in this game.

Ha ha.. is this where the point you get skipped you have a drink, you draw 4 and you drink a full beer, and if you draw 2 the guy next to you drinks as well.

Close enough for government work (besides the fact I don't recall). But there was definitely drinking involved. Oh, and betting. Can't forget the betting. lots and lots of betting (in $1 and $2 increments). We modeled it after limit hold'em, that much I remember.

I have a few issues in all different types of card games........somedays it seems everything works and I can't lose others seems like no matter how big a favorite I am the monkey's hit the 2% river card on me.......

My biggest weakness is over thinking........I have a tendency to give people credit for hands and lay down winners mostly due to the volume of on-line hands I've played this year.......

I get so used to seeing 3 people in a hand with one having a str8, one having a flush, and the other a set or boat so often it sometimes affects my approach......

Over thinking has negative effects on all the various games so I can't really put down one typoe as my weakness, but I do tend to play too many hands when I play limit which tends to cut down on the profit margin a bit.
