Whats your feeling after winning a large field tournaments??. I usually feel unstoppable after that, then couple early exits from future tournaments normally bring me back down to earth :D :D

It feels amazing, nothing feels quite the same and it's difficult to articulate how exactly I feel. Also I feel relieved that I didn't do something stupid and put my self in a bad spot late at the final table

The more you play, the less emotion you experience, regardless of the outcome of the tournament. Euphoria from victory is also a kind of tilt. You have to be calm, and always play your game-A.

No other feeling like it in the world. I usually feel like I'm on my way up in the world--I'm optimistic like that. I imagine most people (me included) suffer from the classic gambler's fallacy, they probably either think they are the shit an are going to continue to "crush live poker" or they think, on some level, that they're destined to do poorly in the next one because they got so lucky.

On that point I think HOW you won affects your mood a lot as well. No one wants to win a tourney by sucking out continuously.

It seems to me after winning that it is not so difficult to win the tournament. And the next I will win too. But this opinion is certainly false.

Exactly, I do agree that it is how u win, had won the free depositor tourny on 888 when I had first started, and 80% of the pots I won were well played to showdown and the other 20% were co n flips, felt soooooo amazing after that tourny, felt I was a poker pro lol

Great feeling until you loose it all when buying in to other tournaments where you can't get any cards to catch and bluff moves are called by nuts... Then you just enjoy knowing that it was only borrowed money... Haha

I don't have any problem admitting that it feels very nice to win a large tournament. I consider myself to be be fairly grounded so no worries of it going to my head or anything. My goals are to run deep, with reasonable consistency, and the occasional win is just the icing on the cake--but, hey, I like icing.

Not sure if its the gambler in me or not but winning a big tournament feels a lot like any other big win and usually fades quickly. It does give me more confidence at the table, but it does not make me feel any better than another win.

Perhaps if I won enough to purchase a car it would be different....

I still have not managed to win a big tournament, the maximum was a first place among 1000 players. My ambitions are bigger, always as an approach I try to stay in 0.5% of players in any tournament. Obviously it is a difficult task, but the feeling of obtaining good results will always fill you with security.
