I wonder if it ever went to the point of blowing up with your opponents over poker, whether that attitude was in online games or live.
There was a time when I was in a tournament and here comes the AA and gets me out of the game, I got some hands that eliminated me at the beginning of the tournament, the moment I got up as Phil Hellmuth. . Furious ... said a friend, leave and relax, I noticed that should not have reached this point, anger is strange in our lives, only in those moments we see that poker can take people out of their reason. ...)))) know that it happens ... Because it happened to me.:mad::mad:

I try to be calm all the time, but sometimes you just lost the nerves. Especially when I have straight or flush and then my opponent gets full on turn and river. Man that is really annoying.

Don't play tournaments, I will tell you this again and again; cash games are where you earn money in poker.

It's that simple.

In two cases:
-AA pré-flop and everyone fold
-Bad Beats (In low stacks I, normally, have better probabilities in AllIns and sometimes the river (or flop, etc) is simply ridiculous.

It's because the rage that I stopped to play Poker some months ago.

Play cash games as opposed to tournaments and situation 1 will no longer make you angry as you have unlimited chances to make the AA make you cash. :)

Bad beats are tilting in both cash games and tournaments. I suggest playing a little loose if these make you that angry. If you start to play a little looser than full-optimal you will sometimes be the one having the bad beats happen to the other guy. ;) This gives you as much joy as it gives you anger when it's you on the other end.

Yes once I lost a $250 Sit and Go headsup.

My heart almost stopped. I still remember the moment. I'm so tensed for pre flop all in. :'(

Once I've been in game for a second day without any sleep at offline poker.

I got a good hand, got to river heads-up and my hand got nuts and what do you rhink I did? I threw cards to dealer (pass). Rools say that of cards got into deck they are out.... the bank was about a $1000 and other players saw my cards.

Went for a big sleep after that.

In a rage, we all happen to be at poker. Sometimes it is difficult to control. At the beginning of my poker career, this happened often. Now I'm used to failures and perceive them easier.

Poker is game that without patience is impossible to play.
I have a really trouble when i get on 2,3 hours playing the same tournament.
I start to play wrong hands and just doing bad things.
So, always when I am getting next to 1 hour and a half, I take a 10 minutes break to calm down, fold all hands except to AA,KK,QQ. Relax a bit and them come back playing for the win!!

Yesterday play twice on Stars Spin&Go, first game ended when i had AA first hand and go all-in vs 92off, i lose this hand. It was 0,25$ games, so my BR wasnt under preasure. Second game i lose AJo vs 89s. When you start play poker emotions is like a part of the game, longer you play more this part is out of your style. I say, thats ok, just not my day, few years ago i would have lost all my BR after such hands. emotions control is as important as bankroll management

Don't play tournaments, I will tell you this again and again; cash games are where you earn money in poker.

It's that simple.

hey RM, maybe you can post some statistic of your cash game, like you say your game is on the good level there.

More often than I would like to, but I'm getting better, at first I would get really mad, but now I finally realized there are some stuff you just cannot change, so it won't matter if you get mad or be cool about it, what matters is that you try to change the stuff you can change

But there are failures when you sit in a tournament in a large one, and there are still a few players left before the bonus zone, and you have TT and they move and you did not get into the zone to pay off the nerves, but then calm down and play

YES YES YES but only a million times. That number is really high for an example but when I joined Cardschat I was ready to blow my top in a bad way. It took me 6 months to get my very bad tilt problem under control. I mean the worst of it. I still get mad as hell sometimes, BUT now I have things I do to calm down as quick as I can because the games not going to stop until I'm over it. Playing while tilted is a losing game every time. I have to say thanks to all these members who helped me with that problem. When I first joined here, I was always talking about my tilt problem and needing some answers I could understand. Well one day a friend of mine here told me that I had to deal with my inter demons before it would get better. I'm like WTF does that mean, where do I find them, and how the hell do I deal with them when I do find them. Well I kept asking him to explain what he meant, but he would not tell me anything else. So I started doing some deep thinking about those inter demons and made me a list of all the things causing me problems from within. ANGER was the first to come to the top. I looked back and seen how long I had been angry with the whole world and how I was blaming it on every thing but myself. I know this has got long. I'm the book writer here. I have just one more thing to add. When I faced that truth, my whole life began to change and my game changed too. Poker and Life go hand in hand Just let them be a teacher for you no matter what it concerns.

I never get upset playing poker. Whether it’s a bad beat, my mistake or anything else, it’s over and nothing can be done about it, so I just move on.

I only wish I could have the same attitude, when I play golf. I have often uttered the odd naughty word after a bad shot. LOL.

At first, yes, because I had an expectation of one day becoming professional, I think most have thought of this one time or another.

Then I was accepting that I am a hobbyist and I was less pretentious with winnings, so I learned to deal with those misfortunes that poker can provide.

But sometimes I still get irritated. Who likes to lose AA when the villain is 55? Hahaha

This happens especially often when you lose part of the stack on good cards against garbage
