I don't know without knowing more about how you had been playing at that table but with that being said, he probably thought you were trying to buy the pot. He had a pair, it wouldn't hurt his stack to much to call the extra 3.50 to win 4.40 so he figured he would give it a shot. This is only my opinion on it though.

I don't know without knowing more about how you had been playing at that table but with that being said, he probably thought you were trying to buy the pot. He had a pair, it wouldn't hurt his stack to much to call the extra 3.50 to win 4.40 so he figured he would give it a shot. This is only my opinion on it though.

I was playing semi-loose pre-flop / semi-tight post-flop.

Ya this was just a quick vent, I was over it as soon as I posted ^^

Lol, I don't mind. If you saw my other topic you'd know why limits / buy-in.

And this style has actually been a huge winner for me :eek: and I almost never lose big.

ya my guess was that he was thinkin u just had 2 over cards, but glad ur over it, thats def good so u dont tilt haha

I second kingnothings motion.
But it honestly depends on how your style was at the table.
If you were playing tight for the majority and he was there.
Im not sure i can give you an answer, maybe he clicked the wrong button.
In low blinds a ton of people go fishing on the river.
I found that out the hard way.
Glad your over your loss, and glad you didnt have more money with you.
Anger is a terrible thing after a hand like that.
