I am trying to get a feel for who might be planning on playing in this event so we can possibly plan a small CardsChat team event.

The dates are Apr 16-27 but the specific event schedule has not been released yet. I am assuming it will be like the others.

That means there should be a $365 event that starts on Fri at 5pm and is a 3 day event. You can start:

Fri 5pm
Sat 12pm
Sat 5pm

There are unlimited re-entries. CardsChat would pay something like $150 of the entry for each team member then the person who lasts longest would win around $400.

Who might be there besides me? :)

I'd love to go, but my birthday falls on that Wednesday before & I might be out of town in the opposite direction (west).

If plans change, I'll re-post ITT.

GL to everyone that might be there! TID CC :icon_thum

Hi Debi, Like I fb'd you, I'll be there the 19th thru 22nd, the 19th being Sunday. I'm hoping to play the Seniors and then the 6-man the next day.

I have poker friends who will be there most of the tourney, so I could probably come in Saturday for this event. If I run good I'll skip Seniors and see what follows. So tentatively, yes.

Helpful Tourney Links: incomplete info posted by wsop & Harrahs, should be up soon.

WSOP: http://www.wsop.com/tourney/tourneydetails.asp?groupID=1121

Harrahs Cherokee: http://www.harrahscherokee.com/Casino/poker.html

Hope to meet a bunch of CC'rs here... should be fun!

Cool - can't wait to meet you!

I have my rooms reserved - just like last year I have to stay both weekends at a separate hotel because Harrah's only let's their big time gamblers stay there on the weekends.

There is a brand new hotel across the street - Stone Brook Lodge - that has rooms so staying there. It is $169 a night on the weekends. :(

But I am getting 5 of my 7 nights at Harrah's free so that helps.

I will arrive Thurs night Apr 16th and leave Mon Apr 27th. Only staying that long because the Ladies event will prob be that Sun - otherwise I could have left on Fri. If the schedule is what I think it might be there will be nothing for me to play on Fri or Sat which sucks. That means the Ladies tournamant will cost me about $1000 to play. If I hadn't finished 3rd last year I would prob skip it lol.

Will get Joe to come up that weekend and do some things with him to make it worthwhile. :)

Would love to do it. I may have to be in the neighborhood for a meeting April 23-24 and might could arrange to stay over another night (or two, depending on how good I run!). Would love to be part of a Cardschat team and play in a real WSOP event!

Yeaaa - the event schedule is out! http://www.wsop.com/tourney/tourneydetails.asp?groupID=1121

We will definitely do the $365 that starts at 5pm on Friday - it is a $500k gtd!

I will start a team thread - but you will have 3 times to enter - in addition to Friday you can enter at 12pm Sat and 5pm Sat.

This is going to be awesome fun!

LOL Debi.... I'll have some friends playing in it. Last December wsop-c my neighbors son finished 6th or 7th in it. When Homegamin, about 1/2 the dealer choices are some Omaha variant which is nice because it breaks up the NLHE and builds some nice pots.
