Last night I watched 2 final tables from this years wsop. First was a $1500 mixed limit game, won by a new name, and the second was a $1500 NL won by the new youngest player ever to win a bracelet, new name. 21 years 11 days old, gonna be a tuff record to break.

ESPN is televising them in HD wide screen. The Main Event will start sometime around AUG 10.

The shows are at 8 eastern time on Tuesdays.

It's actually in HD??? Hell yeah! I was getting sick of those retarded announcers on Mojo's Vegas Open.

You didn't know that happened already? Your behind the game kid, but will definitely be tough to break. I'll never have a shot at it considering I'll be 21 August 10th after the WSOP is over, so I'll have to wait until 22 to enter any events.

ESPN has not shown ANY HD programming for the 2006 world series, and I wasn't aware that they were already showing 07 games, so I can't be too far behind ;)

And why do you have to be 22 until you enter any events? You can enter them the next year while you're still 21..

I don't think they used HD cameras last year, but this year they are.

Let me clear my comment up, because I don't have HD. I got a wide screen telecast, and assume it is HD.

I've got digital cable, so at least in my case it showed me the wide screen with black space top and bottom. Got the whole picture. It took a minute for whatever it was that adjusted, to adjust, and I thought OOPS ESPN done F'd it up, then the pic went good and I got happy. I am not sure if that is a function of the digital cable or something else.

That was Tuesday, Last night I found a repeat on ESPN2. Last night was Thursday. Since I am a FRW, and tourney inclined, I don't watch too much of HSP, or PAD. Ring games are not where my interest lie at the moment.
