agree with this ^ but how to control that?I like the fact that we (TV audience) can see the hands on the delay
but I don’t think they should allow anyone in the room to have access to the hands.
Even after 15 minutes it gives away too much information.

I think Farber should have kept the hand secret, he didn’t put Reiss on tilt by telling him
so I don’t see the advantage for him other him being a good sport.
Just my 2¢
Hole cards that don't get turned up should NEVER be shown.
They should get rid of the hole card camera completely. Sure it's fun for the viewers. I enjoy it too, but I'm with Ivey on this. If I don't want the world to know my game, that should be my choice.

As far as the game goes I don't think it's a "good" or "bad" thing, it's just a "thing". Everybody has access to the same information, everybody knows the deal, it's a level playing field.
I think it's definitely a good thing as far as the promotion of poker to a wider audience goes though. I mean imagine if the Superbowl wasn't shown on TV until three months after it happened, meaning that pretty much everybody watching would already know who won. Viewing numbers wouldn't be anywhere near as high, and promotion of the game would suffer. The WSOP Main Event, pokers Superbowl, was having exactly that problem and this 15 minute delay, for better or worse, addresses that issue.
I think it was good sportsmanship for him to mention it, but it wasn't necessary by any means. Ryan was going to find out, regardless, because of the delay.
As far as the delay itself, I'm not really a big fan of them having access to it. I loved the broadcast, but if they're going to continue like that I'd rather there be some sort of sequestering going on, at least for same-day .
No clue why he did, but good sportsmanship it wasn't.
Maybe you are right, everything changes and evolves. That is inevitable. And any change favors to some and harms to others.
I don't like the 3.5 month delay to finish the tourney.
