116 players started including all of the big names in the poker world. End of Day 1 and they are down to 110. Monster 150k starting stacks and 5 days of poker will make this pretty interesting!

I have a tiny piece of Joe Sebrock, so I'm definitely following this one.

Go Erik Sagstrom!
He is from the same city as me (Linköping), came 3rd last year, and is known online as 'the salmon', erik123 and Din_Fru.

MANY are following this in the lounge here. I can't believe old Doyle is where he is. God bless.

Do you know any dates? I'm really interested.

2010 wsop coverage on ESPN begins on Tuesday, July 27th.

From what I've heard, they are showing the following:

$50K Players Championship (because the final table will be all NLHE)
Tournament of Champions
Ante Up for Africa
Main Event

No word yet on whether ESPN3 will be showing any other final tables online like they did last year.

yeah, Joe went out just before the money like 23rd I think.

you are probably right about television of final table --which will be all NLHE. I had it in my mind that ESPN was only showing NLHE events, but the FT for this event is only NLHE (had forgotten that).

Go on Doyle, don't slow down!

No surprise at all that Doyle Brunson is in the first positions, he is still a top-tier professional, I would like to play some hands with him in person no matter if I win or lose. On his online poker room never happened to be sit at the same table.

Robert Mizrachi has the button in Seat 8. The action folds around to David Baker, who completes the small blind. Mikael Thuritz moves all in for 760,000 from the big blind and Baker calls.

Thuritz {K-Spades}{J-Spades}

Baker {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

Baker heads over to the stands, to sweat the board with his friends as the cameras move into place. The flop is {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}, Thuritz hitting a flush draw. He fills it on the turn with the {7-Spades} and scores the double-up.
