Is it worth trying to deposit on one of these sites that accept us players and trying to win cash. Is it possible to never see the cash if you win?

There are quite a few very serious and very good players here, who are not playing for the hell of it, plenty of free crap to play on facebook.
Yes, if u win at cake or merge you will get your money. They have cashout restrictions, read the fine print(min cashout at cake for a US player is $500-brutal).
good luck, and see u in the games!

Yes, it can happens. But, you only need to choose a good and solid poker room that accepts US players, like Carbon Poker. Cake poker is good too, but they are not that trustable as Carbon in my opinion.

I don't think that is the case. I have never seen New York residents excluded from any USA friendly sites. Just give it a go, if they don't take your money you have the answer. Your deposit method will be important as a lot of "credit cards" will not work. I use a pre-paid debit (Ace Elite) card (again not all will work) with no problems.

it is difficult to get $$ onto a site. Some people say prepaids work, Read the fine print, there are charges. I refuse to pay to get money on a site.

I tried to get my brother into a poker site and both his cards would not work for a deposit. So many freerolls out there, especially Cardschat here, that it shoud be a snap to get your bankroll started. I mean, just the law of averages is if you play 100 poker games, you will win 1 of 100. And with an average of 50 players in alot of the nice money games at Cardschat, a double up 5 to 10 times can win a tournament.

Scratching my head on this one... I use intertops, which is of course on the Revolution (formerly Cake network) and the minimum to withdraw is $150 ($50 fee for check) & exactly the same for bank wire withdrawal...

Does Cake Poker really gouge like that... ow! Also, I have received the payout bank xfer in 3 days from Intertops... keep in mind they have their OWN SEPARATE payment processor!

Just thought I would FYI,

No need to WU... get your account on whatever site you are playing on verified (send in ID, Utility Bill, Front and Back of CC, signed Verification form) and you will be up and running as well as depositing on any US accepted site in no time flat.... JUST STAY AWAY FROM BETONLINE! HORROR STORIES!

Moe.

What state are you in OP (Original Poster)?

Miko... PM me if you need help in depositing on a poker site... I am a stay at home Dad so I am always around to help! Also, look up some of my other threads on here that I have started... I have given some in depth Pro's and Con's to Merge Network sites here: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/what-your-merge-skin-choice-210561/
