I truly think a smart woman has the upper hand in live table games. My wife has sat down at tables before and noticed some men look at her as if she is inferior and they treat her differently and play against her differently than they do a man. Watch out for young women at the tables. They may seem young, dumb and innocent but they are sitting down at that table with the intention of take your money just the same as you do with other players. Dont underestimate women in poker.

Your play shouldn't have anything to do with physical characteristics of your opponent. Your play should be dictated by the dynamic of the play at your table.

Think it is great that now there are more woman playing poker. However it really doesn't affect my game play if there is a beautiful woman at the table as I came to win not find a date lol

Don't get me wrong as most men would love to be playing at at table that woman are playing at versus playing at a table with just "grumpy old men"

Best advice I have is don't ever underestimate your opponent regardless whom they might be.

I disagree with your statement. We should all be prejudice against stinky people in live events. Watch Jeff Boski videos if you want to see how stinky people affect live games. Agree with everything else you say.

Two of my most favorite players to watch play are Victoria Coren Mitchell and Kristen Bicknell. Not only because they are both beautiful ladies. They both have unique play styles that I really enjoy observing.

To be really honest, people advertise poker like a men's game. In my opinion poker is the game of the brain. So if a woman is hard worker enough to get into this community, and make the right efforts for it, there must have been no boundaries to be accepted.
And I also want to mention that they motivate us, in real life as well. Every women must be proud of being a poker player.

But then again, my wife plays tight , aggressive, poker. Good theory poker. Will bluff, and fold.
She finishes in the cash and the older guys hate it, cause the other women fold if they don’t hit on the river, but won’t let go until then, if then, and when the do they loose often to a chased straight or two pair.

She once was heads up for the win, villian had a massive stack. I was on the rail with his buddy.

Some women get very defensive on aggressive poker. I pushed her out of two pots, and she didn’t like it and had enough. Came after me with malice :wavey:
