For reasons stated above, online and live are completely different. But there's also the aspect of game pace, quality of opponent, and game pace. In low stakes live, you'll play against so many casual, gambling players who don't really have an understanding of the game and its odds
, and many of these players aren't willing to sit and fold junk for 2+ hours and will play almost any two cards. To a good player, live can be such a grind at times. Since you see so many less hands per hour, being card dead can seem never ending.
I'm not a very good online player myself. I find it kind of boring, but that's just me. I'm much better in live games and love seeing faces instead of names, chips instead of numbers, and cards instead of images.
