Its not true. On play money games there are now, more than ever before, players who play just for fun, some of them dont even know the rules. You cant learn poker by playing play money. Its better not to play at all untill you learn enough. You have youtube, go and watch some poker. Watch best players in the game. Thats how you learn.

Play money is a usefull exercise, but of course it is not the same experience with the real money. In the real the knowledge and the things you learn are more!

It does not apply to everyone, I know people who put themselves in a game mode so tigh that they are very predictable so more than once you can guess the cards

No free play and very low buy ins people call with anything in any position
