I was just wondering about other peoples winning percentage on Heads-Up Sit-n-Go's. You dont have to show stats, just a ballpark percentage. I've been playing the $2 and $5 and have played over 100 games. Im just over 50% which really is just break even when you account for the rake. Luck factor seems to be larger in these sng's than full tables (just my opinion). Anyways, was wondering if anyone was winning consistently and if so what is consistant, 60%, 70%, or higher.
Thanks and will take any advice.

My stats are something like 7% ROI / 65% win rate at the single-match games, and 23% ROI / 40-45% win rate at the four-player shootouts.

They can have some pretty big swings: I've had ten-game loosing streaks in the shootouts, and I've had nine-game winning streaks in the single matches too. Over a big enough sample though luck should be no bigger factor than any other game.

fwiw, luck factor is actually lower, since you only need to have a hand hold up once to win monies, so if you consistently ship with the best hand, you will win in the long run, in full table however, you need several all ins to hold up to profit. Although technically, like oz says, luck will even out across both making it a non factor

Ive been doing a lot of HU limit stud and stud 8 at Absolute Poker, 3 6 up to 10 20; but its a small field, I cleaned up recently (I like to find multitablers who also play HU at the same time, and diddle them around) and for awhile nobody would play with me. Lost a whack a few days ago, am about even for the month. Prefer ring to SNG for this, I like to take the money and run...
Late at night I find HU heroes in all games... people get a bit drunk and tilted and all of a sudden they want to BEAT someone HU; lol.

HU heroes lol. That is very true. I've made more money late Saturday nights playing headsup on bodog than any other time. I can shove allin early on and get called by amazing junky hands like q9.
