Poker has always been a male dominated game and maybe women felt out of place, but now there are many awesome female players that are very good and can run a guy for his money at any time.
I think it's human nature. Most women don't enjoy poker, sportsbetting or anything relative to gambling situations,as much as men.But they like risky men!
Why don't more men get mani pedi's. Men have their interests and women have theirs. Not to mention whenever I see women at the table they're always being bothered by guys trying to flirt/hit on them. Also no one believes them or wants to give them credit so they get called down a lot. Not saying women shouldnt play but I can think of a million more things id rather do if that was happening to me.
Women are quite a lot not only in tournaments, but behind cash tables. It is there where you want to sit and wait, when a good card comes, they have no equal. If a strong man starts to rush about and try to do something, a weak woman will just shrug her shoulders and wait a little longer, then to make up for lost time.
Women have been making waves in the cash and mtt fields for a while now. I think the number of women playing poker is steadily increasing and will continue to do so.
Passion for poker is competitive in nature. And it is typical of a man's nature ... to prove in any way his superiority over others. Although I would be only happy if there were more representatives of the beautiful half of humanity behind the poker tables
I think women do not play poker because men will not let them. Remember that it was a canteen game and the type of woman who arrived there were poorly seen. I think that's the reason
Poker ust to be a man's game , but that's a thing of the past . Speaking as a woman we may be few and far between but we are out there and we're going to try and get your money.
I think that everything is quite simple
Any one wants to try own Forces in different areas of life
And women also want it. I can also accept that sometimes girls play better than men and earn more money
But it all depends on the ability of this game earn more money
I think it's just because traditionally it's been a male preserve, like in those old westerns with saloons and all male poker players. The only women there where "working". Of course that's been changing for a long time and there are plenty of great women poker players. Still when I play at a local Miami tourney I'm often the only women playing, so I guess some women find that a little intimidating.
