By experience and proven that although we think it is a great advantage to play online poker, to be at home and to be able to perform other activities such as: watching a soccer game on TV, watching a movie, answering the phone, eating, etc. The truth is that playing online poker is just as important and methodical as live poker. I am sure that more than one reader has proven this when playing an online tournament, instead of observing in detail the movements of the opponents, is placed to review sport web pages or online news and this affects the power of decision at the time of Make a demissive play, such as pay an allin or perform a raise with a strong hand like AA ... certainly if we do not observe the development of the game at the table, we will not be able to effectively respond to those moments of crucial decisions during the game. For these reasons my recommendation to users is not to take off the table online and analyze 100% each of the plays, and if it is inevitable to leave momentarily from the table, when we return we do not make the mistake of entrusting ourselves with a strong hand to the Returning to our table, since we emos absent and have not observed the unfolding of the table.

It goes without saying that it would serve a player's interest to watch all hands; not just the ones he is in, so that one can pick up trends of the other players which can be used in the future. I have been guilty of playing multiple tables, with the usual results; I end up playing only my cards, and not my opponents. To be really successful, one must learn to read the table and attack the weakest players.

Even in online poker there are things to take note of. Betting paterns, folding tendencies, frequency of hands. Tracking software can help with a lot of these stats, but to notice a player is deviating from his norm is HUGE. When you don't pay attention you lose information. in a game of incomplete information, you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not paying attention.

HUDs are the GOAT

A very useful tool I use is a HUD when playing online. I don't live near a casino that I can frequent regularly, so I'm currently playing online. A HUD makes these decisions lots easier because I know online, I'm playing multiple tables and can be prone to distractions.

It's not about playing the same way. It's actually different. People tend to take it less serious, specially when they are freerrolls.

This is not true when it comes to the cash tables. Some of the micros (25NL+) are just as hard, if not harder, than many of the $1/$2 NLHE live games I have played in. I have no experience with PLO (the current game I am playing), but I imagine it is also a lot weaker. I look forward to playing live PLO at the card rooms.

Of course, I play 6-max online, which is more aggressive overall. The live games are insanely weak. A lot of live play is people going to gamble, not to just sit there and wait for good hands. I've been on tables were drunks were buying in for 50xbb and open-shoving blind every hand. Or tables where the whole table limps to me in my big blind and we see a flop 10 handed. I guess that last scenario sometimes happens at the lowest of the micro limits, but not often.

I agree with you, brother !! Since like you, I have noticed that the online games become more generally more aggressive and I differ a little with the companion "Runeloko" as far as the freerrolls is concerned, since in pokerstars certainly in these tournaments in the beginning many players are They take the game lightly and mostly they go allin with a very weak hand, but I assure you that there are many players who take these tournaments seriously and at the beginning of these, the hands are becoming more Interesting because we are left alone Serious players
