why play freerolls?

i have been playing alot of free rolls on full tilt poker and out of 2700 people i make it almost every time to top 200 then by this time we are well into the second brake and it is so slow and boring to me whats the point for 15 dollar 1st place money come on there has to be a better way if anyone knows other ways to get your bankroll up quicker on full tilt poker let me know......

Without depositing The freerolls are all you have.

freerolls are just to practise (not really) u sholdnt spect to get on top 10 every time thers a freeroll make a juicy deposit to get $600 max on fulltilt youll roll it up i no time

ive yet to beat the 2700 freeroll and the ferguson: but that's my goal,
(right this minute) its not the money, on freeroll ive made it to 27th first time and 2nd 24th place, and the ferguson i reached 9th place of 1127players..i was so close...if anything its made me a better player,when i do make it those are 2 goals off my list

2700 freeroll i got 3rd but it took over 5 hours and the best in the ferguson i got was around 80th and u get like $1.90 which sucks

it's a free way to practice, and even though the prize is small, you can use that for a buyin to a non freeroll. if someone is giving away free money, i don't see any reason to complain

it is tuff 2 win but the thrill 2 beat that many people is hard 2 describe. try poker4ever or wingowspoker lots less people easier 2 win

it is good practice. if you watch tv some of the fields had several thousand people in them. i think one had 8000 entrants

Yeah if you dont deposit anything on full tilt, the only way you can get money is by winning a freeroll. Its pretty easy too win especially cash, ive got first 3 times, and cashed 5 or 6 other times. But thats the only way you can get money, unless someone transfers you money.

When you say that the bodog freeroll is 500$, how much does first place get? The only thing i dont like about Full Tilts freerolls is that you waste about 5 to 6 hours of playing and if you get first you only get 15 dollars. Not really worth all that time to get 15.

The $500 freeroll pays around $120 to first place pays pretty well for a final table finish and there is often less than 2k entries starts pretty late though.
