Has anyone ever asked themselves why your oponents online are super unfriendly , rude and just idiots ? Does anyone have an explanation for this ? Is it just because they can be ?

Not all of them are. Every once in awhile I'll find a nice guy and have a good time chatting with him. Other times there are the over-confident donks that think they're so great. Most of the time I just block their chat.

I think being anonymous just sitting behind a computer screen allows many to act the way they do but then again I've seen pros on tv and video act very badly also.

Its hard to justify on-line players actions.

Get amongst some regular players, like CC freerolls and community style games.
The world cup poker comp on here was great for getting to know fello CCers.

Otherwise ... just bloke chat from the one you dont like.

Possibly the same reason cyberbullying exists: It's anonymous, and at this point there are no repercussions. BTW, rude behavior exist when playing live, just not as extreme.

Cheers!

Well, someone already mentioned the anonymous thing so, that's why.. others from so called 1st world countries think they're greater thank ppl in less rich country and that will give them the impression they can say anything they want.

Claims for bad beat is what most annoys me. Basically most of the time is that I see in the chat.

Yep - I think it is the anonymous thing - their true colors come out when nobody knows who they are.

Lots of people just like to troll to get a reaction out of you and possibly throw you off your game

It is very easy to be rude when there are no consequences to your action.

It has many nice players to talk. And when you find some arrogant player just lock it.

It is a product of the internet and the anonymity that comes with it . This has only been made worse by stuff like Bovada no screen names etc . When someone is actually in front of you it is much more difficult for most humans to be total *****s , but given a little bit on anonymity there tends to be more *****s . . .

Most good, confident players don't say a whole lot! They just snap up your chips! :)

I haven't noticed such on CC games. CC players are the most considerate and pleasant players online, I think. Some of the online sites do have idiots, though.

I think the anonymous aspect has a lot to do with it. Just the fact that they can't see you face to face is a big factor too. People are usually a lot nicer when they have to look you in the face.
