Because aren't pocket 22 in the kk guys range? IMO he could have qq-aa and aqak which beat him but isent 22-jj in his range ? If it is there are 60 combinations he's a flip against whilst 36 he's crushed against... Explain please thanks

Did you watch the hand play out?
If so, did you not see the 'Hollywoooding' during it?
Lots of reasons why the call was poor.... one of them being ICM considerations (the value of bein' in the "Nov.9", although it doesn't appear that the online sites are jumping on the players with sponsorships from what I've heard so far)

There's a huge bubble effect and risking a ton of EV on KQo there is terrible. If the guy shows you 99 and shoves you should fold even with the right pot odds just because of the intrinsic value of making the N9 with a decent-sized stack.

Look at the table dynamics: The big stacks are being active but the shortstacks were nitting it up. Hewitt himself was playing pretty nitty, rarely opening and the old guy was even nittier.

And yeah, the Hollywood was ridiculous.

Not to mention, the guy with KK was an absolute nit. I do not think 22 was in his range at all.

This was undoubtedly one of the worst calls I've ever seen. How do you call in that siutation with KQ? The best case scenario for that matchup is that youre a coinflip....BEST CASE. Most likely youre going to be completely dominated. And to make that call and jeopardize being in the Novemeber 9? Thats what makes it even worse.

Horrible call, I dont think I would ever call that at any point in the tournament especially risking biggest final table of your life. Ive seen bigger folds in the 50c sng's.

in most cases i won't even call a min raise (from a tight/nitty player) with KQ
unless i have a massive stack.
most times you are flipping or dominated.
what do you think ?
