Played in a noble $3 guaranteed rebuy today with freeroll winnings
everything went well and i did ok
entered a second one, i think the same tourney but later
the table opened up and everything was fine
come time for me to decide on playing or not, everything freezes
my connection is still up ( i'm actually writing this about 5 mins of trying to re-enter Noble )
and everything else is fine
as i try to re-enter Noble, it keeps asking me 'Please enter Nickname' ...I enter ChuckTs
"sorry this user name is already in use"
and it wont let me even check the tables or anything until this username bs is done
i know it was only $3 this time, but
this is why i'm afraid of depositing real money into an online poker room
i've heard of too many people being screwed over and not being able to do anything about it
i guess i'm just going to take the tourney ID# (whenever they let me login again)
and write to online help and demand a refund
i have a feeling i'll try to login again in 1/2 hour and it'll work, but i'll find myself surrounded by big stacks with a 500 chip stack

EDIT: just tried again and all the tournaments have been 'interrupted'
whatever that means
it says that the tourney's been canceled and all buy-ins have been refunded
bs
my account's still 1 buy-in short
i guess their server's down

LOL the online help button has just mysteriously disappeared aswell

what a joke

I haven't tried to play at all today, but Noble has just performed a major software upgrade. Sounds like some bugs are crawling out. I'm sure they're aware that some refunding will need to be done, Chuck, and they'll take care of you. Just be sure to write down the number of the tournament you registered for and email them to request your buy-in back. It should still be on-screen in the tourney menu, unless that's screwed up, too. The only time I've had a problem with Noble is when I failed to note the number of the hands I was playing when a cashier error occurred. Without the hand numbers, they had no way of investigating my complaint that money disappeared from my table stack for no apparent reason. I didn't play Noble for a while after that, but I got over it and it's now the most profitable place I play.

still haven't received reply for my email but
i was playing at omaha hi/lo .25/.50 ring game and brought my $5 ---> $25
and asked online help about freeroll winnings
turns out you can actually get your raked hands with the actual freeroll winnings
so i brought my $19 freeroll winnings up to around $40 now
and online help said that i already played 72 of my 75 required raked hands playing omaha
so the moneys in the bag... didn't have to deposit...and i finally made a solid bankroll
so i've forgotten completely about that $3 now LOL

All's well that ends well then! Well done m8

Ladbrokes is the worst ever for heads up. If you lose your connection to the software, you can NEVER reconnect again without re-booting your PC and logging back in, which takes around 2-3 minutes on a fast PC. During this time, the other player is making minimum raise and stealing your blinds every hand. As you only get a 10 second response time, your chips are practically gone by the time you have logged back in

I have twice came along unsporting players who have just stolen my chips, yet when it happened to my opponent once I waited for them to reconnect

I sent a seriously angry e-mail to the helpdesk and got $20 refunded to my account

But when you consider you can play heads up for $10,000 here, they should give you a couple of minute to reconnect. I refuse to play heads up here for more than $5 now, just cos it would seriously annoy me to lose anymore through a disconnection and unsporting opponent

Was playing on a ring game when it froze up on me as well. Was able to reconnect after about 15 minutes and I had lost nothing. Was in mid-hand with money in the pot and it looks like they just reset everything to pre-hand state. I'm still not wild about the new look; however, they do try to keep things straight. I'm nearly halfway through clearing my bonus, just wish they credited tourney play like other sites do...

Ive had that same problem playing on paradise but the good thing was that it was a free roll and if you log out of paradise while in a tournament it will post and fold your cards until you run out of chips or until you return, also if the main server goes out then all your buy-ins are refunded...Not really sure why your second buy-in wasnt rewarded back to you account?? Mabey you should ask tech support??

Yep thats Noble, I've had the same problem a few times and NO response from support. I've given up having their site take my money everytime they have a server/software problem.
Bottom line is that it's your money and if they have no intention of rectifying an issue then go elsewhere as I did a loooong time ago.
Also really when you look at whats out there, they don't really offer much at all.

no i actually really like Noble
that problem was my first one
and they responded the next day
but i was still pissed.
The new software is terrible
but other than that i've never had problems with them...then again i've never dealt with money from their site so can't vouch for that

Fair enough and was I was probably a little harsh. Just lately I've been having integrity issues with some of the sites that are out there.
Noble is a good site and most overall are, though when something does go wrong it's the little things, like a quick email from support appologising and offering to make amends that really make the difference.

they just responded to my email about a problem i had during omaha hi/lo game
they sounded all courteous and nice...

"we have refunded the appropriate amount to your account
we apologize for the inconvenience ...yadda yadda yadda"

they didn't refund anything to my account though...

Hi Chuck,

I had the same prob while playing a $5K tourney. Was 5 players away from the $ when freeze up happened. I wanted to log out then re-open but was too scared of not being able to log back in so I waited for the 5 players to get knocked out. This was bubble play at is finest so took 30 mins....

In the meantime my stack was getting blinded away.

Anyway, the solution is to shut down Noble then re-open it. I got back in and resumed playing albeit now in a short-stacked position compared to above average when the software froze...

Same problems here :(

Hi all,
Remember the thread I started 'decided to quit Noble"? Then they upgraded and they talked me into staying?
Well i've had the same problems you guys have been talking about and I beleive they must have upgraded without testing it enough as the errors i've been getting over the last few days have made it impossible for me to play, got the same errors with the new betfred software too.
I get wrong username please verify when i'm already signed in, I get table full when I haven't even chosen a table, can't connect to server even though i'm connected plus lots more.
Needless to say i've withdrawn my cash from Noble and i'm going to leave both poker rooms alone probably for at least a few weeks or until i've heard that they've sorted the errors out, I did think it was just my computer but I tried it on a second computer with a different connection and still got the same errors, shame really, I liked both places but until the problems are worked out no sense in trying to play there.
Good luck all :)
