First thing first I was beating these limits BIG until the major variance happened. Bad beat after bad beat after bad beat despite giving my opponents horrible odds to play there hands. Needless to say they would still play them and suck out. Finally I have decided I've had the last straw and will never play 2nl again. Here is what happened: Me dealt AA I make a 1bb above standard raise. One guy calls and one guy raises to $0.34 so I decide to raise all in for $3.00 against players I know to be fish. Both players call and the flop comes KQ6. Turn is an 8. River is an 8. One player mucks and the other shows 87o. I have decided that I will not play 2nl again as a couple more beats like this would take my whole bankroll.

Right now I'm in so much pain as two hands before that my KK ran into AA....

SO MUCH PAIN:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I understand why ur pissed and all, but isn't the point of poker trying to get these types of players to play with u, I mean yes it sucked that the moron called u with 87o, but I mean u can't really be that upset about it right? u would want to keep playing with these ppl right? I know I would love to play morons like these for the simple fact that yes they win now, and maybe alittle later but really in the end look at it like this there just saving all that money for you!, don't be so upset over it

Yeah bro you're right. I was just steaming A LOT. Anyway I have cooled down a little now and I went back into the books and I am still up $0.84 in my total of 4 sessions I have 2 winning sessions and 2 losing sessions. Anyway I am still averaging two BB/hr so maybe I will play 2nl again but not for the rest of the day because AA vs. 87 is killing me inside.

I would play AA vs. 87 every day for the rest of my life if I could.

If somebody lays odds of $12 to your $3 on flipping a coin, you pick heads and it comes tails, do you get upset?

AA is never 100% to win preflop. Yet people get it and think they've won.

The 87o is pretty bad, can't condone that, but you are playing 2NL. $3 is just a Big Mac to most. To you it's a portion of your bankroll.

Uh...he was playing a .01/.02 cash game. So what last place are you referring to?

it was your own fault:eek:

Yep, damn he should have definitely folded AA preflop and utilize his psychic abilities better to know he'd have lost.

And you want to play at a site with little to no donks?

yeah i'm just starting at the cash games and stuff like this is common. you always see very questionable plays at this level. just keep at it because in the long run you'll be able to dominate this level and see that bank roll grind up.

If a 2 or 3 beats like that will drain your roll, your playing too great a percentage of your roll. You dont have to buy in for the full amount.
