Do you remember what was the thing which made you fell in love with poker ?
Well I was laying in my bed and suddenly some memories came to my mind. So, I decided to write them on a blog.

For me it was combination of old western movies with the poker boom before black friday. Back then there were poker ads everywhere as well as shows like high stakes poker and poker after dark. It looked like easy money game when you see how these people were playing for thousands of dollars without hesitation. Moreover online poker back then was completely unregulated and there were freerolls and free money to play everywhere. Well it all changed after black friday. Why Do I love poker?

Hello.
For me, poker is a great opportunity to get distracted. In addition, this wonderful game allowed me to become more patient and consistent. I love this game because it brings a positive to my life.

I remember it like it was yesterday. after school we got together with friends to play poker. at first i didn't understand anything about this game. but after a few hours watching others play and asking questions. I threw myself into the water and put my money on the table. from the start I made a profit and I loved this game so much that I never stopped playing poker.

Hello, the truth was that at first it didn't make sense to me. Until I started to play for real money and I was taking the game, the strategy. I was learning and studying a lot of the game and the mentality of poker that made it more attractive every day. Nowadays I am passionate about poker and I can't stop it hahaha. Greetings.

I watched on TV, the final tables of big poker tournaments, and I was struck by the atmosphere of tension in which the game takes place, and the complete delight when you get a victory on the river! I started playing to get that adrenaline.

So far, I haven�t thought about why I love poker. Thinking about your question, for me, poker is just tournament poker.
I like the stress that comes with it, defeating opponents, being forced to make decisions, thinking ahead, and if you do it right, you get money for it too! Why Do I love poker?

For me, it was around 2005. Around the time of the boom and how insanely popular and mainstream it was becoming. I'm a naturally competitive person so the fact that you can play a game and beat people for money really fascinated me. I started buying poker books and playing around the house as a young teen. Then I discovered online poker at fulltilt poker and i was hooked. I was either playing online or watching on tv. All the time

Going to an Indian casino when i was 18 for my first time ever being in a casino. Drove 4 hours with $400 in my pocket which was a lot for me back then. Sat down at 6/12 with it not really knowing where i should play with that bankroll. Got down to my last 2 big blinds after losing a hand. Did my first ever F it im all in without looking, i remember a lot of people calling preflop so there was a decent amount for me to 5x or 6x up. Didn't look til it was time to show, had J 4 offsuit, two 4's on the board. Took that one down. Sat back down for about 18 more hrs and walked away with $2,200. Been hooked ever since, 16 years.

Very good story, I like it more than anything due to the fact that it was your dad who started you in the world of poker, I went to see pokerstars to see what Texas Holdem was, I received courses and I remember that every time I played they were all hands all in when an ace came out haha super fun, everyone at the table annoyed, then one day my dad sat at the table with me and told me that he also played poker, he showed me his strategy plays and from then on I have loved the poker. I hope someday with dedication I will also become a professional and represent my country as one of the best poker players in the world Why Do I love poker?

Black Friday was devastating to the US players, but not the rest of the world. I used to play with a lot of Americans on PokerStars before Black Friday. Now it is the rest of the world.

With discipline and dedication you will get improve your game. I am working on my game as well. It is a hard way but remember baby steps. Don't run and enjoy the process .

Poker in my life takes enough time. This activity became my hobby, and to do something, and not be carried away is a waste of time.
