Easy answer to this question.. Im not good enough. i will kindly accept negative critique, as long as its constuctive. but im looking for more of a guide to maybe what you have done to get past the initial step into the unknown.
In the last year Ive switched from sit and goes, to exclusively ring game cash tables..
I figured i would start from the bottom of the micro limits and work my way up..
After a year of experimenting moving up the limits, I prefer just to stick to 0.01/0.02 NL , which i know works for me and i yield consistent results.
Every time I move up, my valuations are too low so i get scared off alot more hands, thus making me play differently, ie too weak and too tight, and it feels like im getting pushed around alot, which im not used to, so i end up just going back down to .01/.02 NL to get back the $s ive just moroned off to some donk! thus making me feel completely like a noobie!
Sure ive had some good games and ive come out with some very nice amounts of winnings more than usual on a lower game. but in the long run i find the play in 0.02/0.05 NL alot more fishy and utter bs, and so far ive not played that many hands so that judgement is hopefully unjust.
anyone understand what im going through? I really feel the need to move up limits, over a year my results are seriously telling me to step it up a notch, but i seem to "not like" other limits because my results arent as good.
