A lot of great wins and stories already this year at the wsop. Obviously, Jason Mercier has been killing it so far. Justin Bonomo has been playing pretty well, too. I'm still hoping that Daniel will grab at least one more bracelet this year, and I'm excited to see what kind of run he can make in the Main Event this year.

Brian Rast is having a decent summer, last night getting his first bracelet with a win in the 50k Players Championship. He also has a 8th place in the 10k Limit Hold'em and a 5th place in the 50k No Limit Super High Roller. Total cashes of just under 1.5mil.

Yeah, that's a great story.

Agreed. That 50K Players Championship is the tournament I most want to play in/win out of every tournament in the world. Very prestigious bracelet to win. More so than the Main Event, in my opinion.

Both great posts guys.

Now the Main Event has started. Really excited to see how Daniel does this year after his impressive run last year.

Love the Mizrachi brothers. And you're right, funny that Robert is having a better series than Micheal.

I'm interested to see how deep they can do in the ME.

Damn...that's an impressive family. Michael has always been one of my all time favorite players. I mean he won the $50 000 Players Championship twice. That to me is more impressive than Main Event bracelets.

Well, today, I'm disappointed that Daniel busted out of the Main Event. Still hoping he might still pick up a bracelet this year. I still believe that Daniel will win the Main Event at some point in his career.

Also disappointed that Phil Ivey also busted out of the Main Event.

Jason Mercier is very pleased, moreover, was the best player in the current series.
