How can I stop from tilting???
I wsa just sitting hours and hours playing on 888, finally the CC freerolls starts.
I haven't had a hand all morning, maybe 1 or 2 pots won, but always online.
I'm in CO, AQo, I raise, get two calls. Flop turns up: 9QQ nice!!! First to bet takes it time for decision, but time bank won't start, so I looked on the mainpage, CONNECTION LOST. DO YOU WANT TO TRY RECONNECTING?
NONSENSE, I AM PLAYING POKER; I WANT YOU TO RECONNECT ME EVEN BEFORE YOU LOST MY CONNECTION!!!

Yes hate that when internet connection goes remember once when I had 3 quarters of my stack 70000 chips in by the turn with flopped poker calling aggressive opponent in the Sunday million $215 game on stars was a bad storm that night affecting the internet signal I think as I could not do a google search even, I cursed myself and nearly cried for not jamming all in on flop or turn because he bet again on river and won instead of having a 200k stack was left with a 30 k stack 17x $215 buy in difference I feel your pain man.Playing poker with screwy internet connection and being an all in or fold situation every hand is not fun.

I was at your table yesterday afternoon and wondering what was up. I actually asked myself at the time, this wasn't your type of play -- and then you were out. Sorry to hear that you are having problems. It truly sucks and I feel for you.

Sometimes you just can't predict everything. I always play from my laptop (battery saves me from power outages). I have my phone ready with hotspot configured in case my main internet provider drops. And today all of a sudden my laptop just locked up and i lost several minutes till i reboot it and manage to play again. My pokerstars client settings were also lost after this reboot so i needed to check them. I was playing 2 tournaments and nobody knows how many hands i lost and with what cards. Good thing was that these were freerolls. Sometimes i have connectivity problems even using pokerstars client from my android phone.



Main thing is that we just can't control everything. It is good idea to backup as many things as possible but when you play from internet you can't be 100% sure that you will not be disconnected. We pay for our comfort playing from home with the less than 100% reliability of the connection. Only sitting at the casino table you can have 100% connectivity.

I'm normally at that point, doing something else. If I'm not having fun, to the point of frustration, it time to do something enjoyable.
