Your recent transfer request could not be processed due to a security check
on your account.

It has come to our attention that you may have multiple pokerstars
accounts. It is against our rules to play with more than one account.

Upon investigation, it appears that the following accounts may belong
to the same person:

'pifmonster23'
'BaD KrediT'

If this is not true, please provide us with an explanation and your
relation to these players. If more than one of the above are your
accounts, please let us know and we will take appropriate.

As part of our security procedures, we ask that you send us the
following information:

1. a clear scan of your driver's license, or any other valid government
issued picture ID; and

2. a clear scan of your last utility bill (telephone, gas, water, or
electric) indicating your name, address and statement date.

^^My Friend was over my house and got on his account, which was the pifmonster one. But now I cant recieve transfers because of this? I emailed pokerstars back and got no reply, and Its almost impossible for me to get them my drivers license right now as I dont have a fax or scanner...
im just a college kid in a college dorm LOL

You could probably just go to your college library or something and they would have a scanner that you could use. Usually Pokerstars responds to emails really quickly so you might just want to send another one with an explanation.

i had the same thing happen but i actually had multiple accounts. I took pictures with a digital camera since the scanner ones were messed up. After about 4 days of emails, I told them the truth and I got 1 account back and thats all i need. They let me keep all my funds

Myself and my roommate both play on poker stars from the same address, and we have even used each others machines and transferred money, and never had any problems like this.

So, I'm not sure what rationale PS uses to determine that two accounts are the same user. It's probably more detailed than just logging onto the same machine.

My vote is also for writing PS an email explaining the situation, with any documentation they need. And if this "friend" doesn't actually exist, it's best to own up about having multiple accounts. ;)

Ive never had a problem with it, me and my wife each have accounts at various sites, no problem. But we always email support first and ask them if we can do it, and so far it's never been a problem. Even better, a couple of the sites let us play in the same mtt's and even sngs together, but if you plan on doing that, then dont see each other's hole cards nor announce your play whilst the other person is still in, that way there's no risk of being accused of collusion.
