Who thinks these people are annoying as HELL?

You are bored, decide to play some poker, your catching cards maybe getting lucky more times than not and you got a player runs off at the mouth non-stop! Saying shit about you, your family, your poker skills, basically anything he thinks will piss you off. Its funny how people are 10 ft. Tall and bulletproof when they are 400 miles away and sitting behind a desk typing. I don't get mad, I laugh to myself and never respond but these people just go on and on even tho I ignore them and don't respond! Lol. Its funny but annoying and irritating at the same time...

Maybe win a big pot agaibst em...lol I know thatd shut me up XD or if your xard dead you could do a little trash talking your self

Yeah that's why they get pissed, they're not hitting, not catching cards you know whatever the case may be, I just don't think talking shit about peoples families, they're kids, in my opinion that's trash talking going to far. I can see a little bit of trash talking, just don't talk about my kids, family & things like that.

Ouch idk biut that one I mean if they are pissed and donating money what more could you asj for other than them shutting up haha id say its worth it if thry are tilted but if not and just trash talking id probably get up and go some other table if thats possible

If it is poker stars and it bothers you use the call moderator button, or turn chat off.

There are so many guys like that, if you win with 88 against AQ they are ready to tell everything bad about you.
Obviously, moderators have to ban them.

While i do a talk trash at the table sometimes just to piss ppl of and get them out of their comfort zone, sometimes i just can't shut up. Example: had AA in hand 13k stack pretty deep in the tournament a russian idiot (as always) joins the table with a 11k or so stack UTG call every1 fold to button (him) who shoves i'm in BB so i call with my AA hand rest fold he turns 27 hand not even suited floop K 10 2 turn 8 river 2 . Of course i go insane and start calling him a donker n00b and so on also i swear alot pokerstars for sucking me out. On the other side i got swear at by so many idiots in different languages for nothing one time by 1 guy in Moldova i don't even know why but i know it was for me cauze he was repeating my name.
PS: sorry if i have many and(or) big mistakes in my post but english is not my 1st language.

If chat bothers you then turn it off. I like to keep it on because some people advertise their tilt. Any free info is good in my book.

simple solution is turn off chat, i tend to have fun with it, after all its just cards.

the truth that if it is annoying, how well you do on ignore, the truth sometimes makes you want to tell all, but hey there's always that annoying type of player who thinks he's God

I think it's dependent upon your play. If you are making logical plays and they are just talking trash because you are playing better, then you are doing what you need to and should laugh and move on. Click "disable chat" and call it a day.

However, if you are playing a "leaky" game and someone is giving constructive criticism I'd actually pay attention to what they say. Many people will do two things when talking to you on there. They'll help you understand the leaks in your plays and they'll explain their own style at the same time. Both of these are helpful because they'll allow you to improve your own long term play as well as take advantage of the villain's play short term.

So if they are just rude and personal insults, ignore them, but if the are rude and informative, listen, learn, and exploit them.

If you look back at the times you gave in and replied to these type of people, id bet that more often than not your play got worse. Its a good way to distract people if they happen to only be playing one table and such. I used to give in and chat sometimes, but after seeing nothing great happen and myself tilting some i refuse to chat anymore. We U.S. players arent privy to such nice commodities like moderators

If I'm in a tourney I look more at my stats than chat maybe try that or like others have said block the offending players chat,sometimes a players chat can give you a tell also since maybe you have them tilted that can work to your advantage.....scorp

I just ignore it, with the occasional "lol" reply.

I prefer to have the notes section open instead of chat in cash games and the "info" section on while playing sng's/mtts

i really enjoy this! when someone is running their mouth off at me, i like to repeatedly reply to their comments with the same thing. Over and over and over and over... etc. Something like "thanks for the chips ". something that will tilt them further and is enjoyable for myself knowing buddy is tilting and my idiotic response.

If you get bothered by a chat room, don't play live poker. While it is most likely easier if you are not bothered, some guys will just get in your head if they know you are getting pissed.

It doesn't so much bother me as it disgust's me! It's like where were you raised...ya know? I can't stand rude obnoxious people and especially when they're just plain sore losers. There is no substitute for good/proper manners both on and off the poker tables. I just wanna tell the ones who run their mouths like that to grow up . But I don't, instead I just ignore them online because hey, why give them any attention? Usually they don't last long anyhow. When is the last time you saw someone who had a mouth like that at a final table??

YES!!! I LOVE IT!!! Suddenly your a donk because you call their bluf with a weak hand yet strong enough to smash their 7 high LOL! Nothing makes me warmer inside than getting one ofem to go on tilt because they are mad at you for reading them like a book!
