I tuned in to poker on TV and just caught the end of a conversation. They were talking about someone who won a tournament whilst playing every hand blind and survived 26 "all ins". Does anybody know who it was?

I remember Hellmuth raised blind in a wsop event in a early 200 event. Was 28 left - 27 ITM, and he raised something like 20 odd hands blind and got called like 2 or 3 times, those hands he actually had something aswell. I think it was back in about 2003 or so, try googiling it.

I've seen the episode too... no idea how many times she tried, but yes appearantly she covered her hole cards to get a better idea on evaluating betting patterns.

I imagine it's pretty effective as long as your playing against the same style of players constantly. I would imagine that it would be like watching two people having a conversation and trying to distinguish what it was about and their relationship to each other by their body language ect. rather than hearing it. When 1 sense isn't in use the other's will pick up the slack.

And yes this was in his last qualifying match and he needed a win which i believe he got against shulman... I also remember him knocking out hellmuth in the first few hands and him freaking out about it.. If my memory is right hansen had 22 and helmuth had either QQ or AQ and hansen shoved in the dark, catching a set.
