I used to really enjoy the poker room at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, but ever since it was rebranded as the LinQ. I've not been impressed.
Then, when I lived in Jersey, I really liked the Showboat. Competition was soft, the dealers where nice, tournaments were cheap.
Then one time I played in foxwoods in CT. They had windows! Can you believe it? windows in a poker room! Amazing! It felt great to play with natural light. I really feel the whole, "no windows in a casino" thing detracts from the experience. I get that they are trying to make you lose your sense of time with no windows and no clocks, but I just love some natural light (not the beer)
