Just curious , on sites where you can find out where the other players are located, such as ACR and BCP. Does it affect the way you play that player like if he's very aggressive etc.? And if it does do you it play different in tournaments or cash games?

I hope y'all can understand the question, I wrote it and I'm not sure I understand it.:)

I dont like to pre judge a player by his country, but one thing I like to do is when looking for a cash table, I wont join it if there are even two players from the same country, to avoid collusion.

Judging a players poker skill by his country is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.. Just cause someone is from country X doesn't mean everyone from country X contains the same play style therefore I advise you to not look up peoples whereabouts for an advantage because you will only end up giving them one.. Imagine thinking that one player is going to bluff cause hes from country X so you call an all-in hoping hes bluffing and he turns the nuts, how would that feel?

I tend to lookup players more often with weaker holdings from brazil/Russia as in the micro stakes I play they like to fire 3 barrels on a runout that favors my range and misses theres. I just tend not to believe them much.

I agree with you) If there is an opportunity, it is better to choose a table with opponents from different countries, this reduces the probability of contracts between them!

Not sure it matters where from....

Not sure it matters where your from, more really how they play. I'm from he UK. My disliked players are those that go all in before seeing the flop. Never judge on where from more on poker ability.

I'm also interested in knowing what country I'm playing with!
I love playing with rivals from different countries!

Well, probably on sites where very few people are playing - there are weaker players, but this is purely my opinion

My game if it affects a lot because I do not feel that it is playing against real people, only with pokerstars I feel comfortable and with the rest of poker rooms I feel that I play against bots and I neglect a lot of my game that's why I no longer play in other rooms

I do not know if that makes sense, Russians are kind of crazy in the moves. But I think it's because they exist in large quantities in the poker rooms. Just for that.

I'd rather judge the other players by their actions on the table than by the parents where they came from.
I think each player has a way of playing different regardless of the flag that is representing

I don't judge a players ability by the country they are from, I try to judge them based on their play. That's why I try to pay attention to all play even if I'm not in the hand. That's why I love the ability to make notes in online games since you don't play the same players all the time!!!:D:D

There's no connection

I do believe that the way player play poker depends on the players knowledge and skills, not where they're from.
Nice question!!

If I understand you correctly the idea is that players throw the other tables ,it really is in online poker but in cash games I have not seen this don't know exactly why do

I don't think you should assume a play style only from the players country,
that said there are a LOT of Brazilian and Russian players in micro stakes SNG at PS most of them play like crazy but you do encounter regulars with basic or more knowledge, so I guess judge by their actions?

The place where the player is, i believe has no influence on how he plays, many spoke of the Russians, who were all crazy, but one thing I say, crazy exist in all places of the world, where the player is from, not have a positive or negative result in the game

I'm from Ukraine.

When played with people from Las Vegas I felt that they know much more about cards then I do - pro-gamers. Like the whole deck tries to help them )

It doesn't affect my playing against them but it does

raise my curiosity because I wonder what their country is like,

what the weather is like, what they do other than poker for fun, etc.

I have never been outside the US and like to learn about other countries

from the people who live there instead of what is written in books :)

Which player does not influence me at all. He may be from Russia, but he is a very closed player. Maybe he is a Gibraltar, for example, but he is very aggressive ...
