Hey all.

I am looking for a withdrawal strategy? Any of the winning players out there got a specific strategy? Such as keep $100 of every $1000 or take 10% on the first of each month. I am attempting to build a bankroll from a minimal amount but I don't see the point in winning cash and spending a load of time if I don't actually spend of it. Also I have set myself these bankroll management rules :

2% on MTT's with more than 180 players
3% on MTT's with 31 to 180 players
4% on MTT's with 11 to 30 players
5% on SnG's with one table
2% on HU SnG's
2% on cash games including Zoom/Rush
At any time I can play any game that cost $1.50 or less

If anyone has got any suggestions on this and can spot any problems then please let me know.

Thankyou :)

I did over 100x buy-in for everything.

Withdraw whenever you have enough over that amount, depending on how much is enough for you.

I consider 100bb a buy-in for a cash game. I played ring game 99,5% of time. I'd do the same for tournaments or SNGs.

You could cash out with less, anything over 50 buy-ins would be as low as I'd go. I used 100, because I was moving sites a lot.

i use to keep 500 on all my accounts and cash out over that. it seemed to work for what i was playing but also thats when i was able to play on the bigger sites that had it set up to win good money from smaller stakes. I think if you play acr/bcp you might want close to 1,500 at leat in my opinion.just depends on the sites you can play

If you have that kind of list of brm rules then it should be pretty easy to see how much you need to leave in your account to play the games you want to still be able to play. One other factor is that you can always make a deposit if you have a down swing. Most sites offer deposit bonuses from time to time that are worth taking advantage of.

I believe that in the current situation regarding online poker, one should cashout frequently, say you have $500 cashout at least 400, a hundred bucks should be plenty to play on with, unless your a high roller, in that case i don't think you would be posting this question lol. I may not be the sharpest needle in the pack, but after a few years of watching site after site go down, nothing surprises me anymore. A buck in the hand is better than a hundred in cyber land.

I wouldn't withdraw any until I had found the highest level I could beat.

Once I'd established that I'd withdraw any balance over 100bi anytime I had more than the min cash-out for that site. As others have said leaving money in cyberland is a touch risky.

Yeah it makes sense to withdraw frequently so as not to keep too much money on the sites. I mean you can still have a $500 roll well only keeping $100 of it on the site itself.

Yeah just keep as much as you need to keep your BRM in check, just because the money is in your bankroll doesn't mean it's on a certain poker site.

Simply win over 1000$ and withdraw, if you want to left something about $100 in account.
I don't see sense to think complicated strategys.

i did a strategy once
basically everytime i doubled my bankroll i would withdraw 50% of the winnings, so for instance lets say start with $50, once you make it to $100 you withdraw $25
at the start it seems like a lot, but it teaches you not to move up the stakes too quickly as everytime you withdraw your BRM will dictate you drop down a level at least :)

obv then once you win $100 and leave $75 in, once that doubles, so $150 you would withdraw half again so about $38 leaving in $112

once you double it to $224 you withdraw $56
i did this once before as i said, i took it to $380 after my withdrawels, and then took out the remainder because i needed the money lol
