DO NOT PLAY POKER WHEN TIRED

To develop your best at the poker table, you need to be careful, Focused and able to realize important things like betting patterns or physical cues (when playing live). It is almost impossible to do these things if you are tired. Instead of paying full attention to each hand, you can be distracted after fold, see the wrong board or even wrong click while playing online and so losing chips unnecessarily. Ignore the desire to play poker if you are too tired to have a performance close to their best. Improve your concentration sleeping a little more, eating well and doing some exercise. These are three simple things that ensure you do not miss any action at the poker table and play to their maximum potential.
PLAY POKER NOT WHEN YOU HAVE DRUNK

A familiar phrase in poker is "I play better after a few drinks." And for some people this may be true - a beer or two can help to release the player and allow it to have more confidence to bluff or take a more risky call. In general, consume some alcohol and play poker - even if one or two beers - is a big mistake .

Alcohol impairs judgment and can lead you to lose information in the tables that could be crucial later. It is also likely that leave you more tired - see above - and be fatal in a long tournament where the most important decisions will be taken after several hours (or days) game. If the game you are is purely for fun and played at very low limits you to lose, so go ahead and take a few drinks if desired. However, if you want to take your best for the poker table, then you should leave these drinks aside.
DO NOT PLAY WHEN YOU ARE IN HANDICAP

One of the great things in cash game poker is that you actually should choose who plays against. Before you sit down you can see who are the other players at the table and make your choice. If you are online at PokerStars you will have the option of many other cash tables in the same limit you have chosen. Do you think the other players at the table are really good? Just move to a different game.

Sometimes you will not be able to say how the other players are good before having played against them for a while, and sometimes you will have played with them before and have enough information. It is vital that you have self-disciplineto be able to get out of the game if you do not have an advantage. It's OK to do this - remember that the main objective of poker is to try to win! Now, there are times to play against better players than you can be a good thing. This can usually force you to improve your game, try new tactics and improve as a poker player in the long run. But this is not something you want to do very often!

In a tournament you do not have the same degree of choice of their opponents. You are forced to play on the table where you sit. Even with these restrictions you can still use some selection of players - aim to play more pots against players who you think are weak and to avoid getting involved with the players you feel are strong. Sometimes this plan will not work to perfection - and if you get a hand that you need to play? but this is a good guideline to make your life easier.
Try NOT IS IN TILT

The tilt can take many forms; irritation, outrage, depression, fear and others. The tilt causes different people act in different ways, but essentially it is any time that their performance at the tables is negatively affected. If you feel you are on tilt you should take a break and stop playing immediately.

The tilt can quickly ruin a good cash game session or result in you being dropped from a tournament that was going well. So if you feel the tilt of the devil appears, go away quickly and try to regain your peace of mind before it's too late.

Well, each person has different ways of playing, and has different habits. When to stop playing poker? If you are a professional you could play until your mind continues to play, but in a long hours tournament you should have previous training on how to play, put together your strategy and take breaks in unnecessary situations. The advantage of playing online poker, is that many do not get tired of playing until you have your bankroll at $ 0, sadly it is the truth, but you have to have more authority over the time you play, thus allowing your bankroll to grow, if you really want to be a professional in this of poker.

I have read countless things written by countless pros that says you should keep playing until the game goes bad. Those same pros tell you not to play till you hit a certain win amount. They say just keep playing until you are not winning anymore. This seems valid and makes sense in an ideal world, but it does not work for me. I never notice that the game has changed and that I am not winning anymore until I have lost my profit and my stack. Because of this I do tend to play a win/loss stop game, meaning I play until I have won a certain predetermined amount of blinds or until I loose a certain amount of money. I do not start with the win/lose amount already in mind. I sit down at the table. I see how things are playing out. I play a few hands, and then after a short while I have an idea of what a realistic win/lose goal will be for the table I am at. I would rather walk away with a small 10 BB win than run up a huge stack then turn around and loose it all after a few hours of bad beats and decisions.

Fatigue today prevented me in the last two tournaments. And all that I won today, I also successfully lost in them)) And it was worth resting and playing tomorrow, for example. The tips are very useful.

Stop playing if you lose a large amount and can not stay and you always want to recoup even if you do not have money.

I think the first thing you should do is define how much free time you have to play poker ... then establish a game schedule ... avoid playing fatigued or stressed or worried about a personal situation ... in my case I I play the hours that I defined in my schedule and no more ... that is part of a discipline

If you have accumulated fatigue or feel anger from a bad hand, it's better to take a break

Sometimes I take a break after tournaments, when I feel I need to rest and not play, and then continue or play the next day, I lost a lot at tournaments when I was tired and was not concentrated, if you feel that you are tired better not to play, well rest, have patience and that you are focused on the game and start playing!

For me, poker is a competition with yourself. I have not made a deposit, and I do not plan to do it in the near future. While the game gives me pleasure - I will play. And it does not depend on the size of my bankroll.

If you want to earn in poker - learn to stop. You can not stop by yourself - install a special program.

Tired is almost always guilty of losing money on poker. Sometimes I hardly look at it, a few times and I fell asleep. And that's a big problem for me !!

This is correct your thinking. But when a person does not get tired of playing until their Bankroll reaches 0, that person more than anyone needs help. Everything that makes it addictive is harmful to health. And in some cases the problem gets out of hand and involves family and people around you. Unfortunately this is one of the dark sides of Poker. To avoid this kind of situation, we all need to know when to stop.
