What's your inner voice telling you?

Listen to your inner voice while you're playing? Are you hearing things like: "I'm screwed." or
"I suck." or
"Why am I suck a looser?" or
"How come I can't beat this guy?"

It is difficult if not impossible to win with a negative attitude? Look what happens to the pro's when their heads get in a negative state. They usually don't last too long in the tourney or at least take a beating.

Getting your mind in a winning state and keeping it there is the hallmark of a winning player. As difficult as this may seem, it is not impossible to learn. What's your inner voice telling you?

funny question

my inner voice mostly says you are a good player and can win

but during my poker games my inner voice says nothing !
its like a white voice generator.
i am to occupied with poker to have time to listen to any inner voice.

a way to reach this state is to play more games at the same time,
or like i sometimes do is play another type game next to your
poker game (i play chess sometimes) to occupied your mind.

not think to long about lost hands during play, it will push your
thoughts into a negative way off thinking, better analize your
game after its finished.

in cash games not think blast i lost that hand but look how did
my oppenent won this hand !
a lot can be learned from lost hands also.

Don't listen to any voice and play rational.

If you start to hear one, stop playing...!!!

You play poker, and besides the luck in card draws
you rely on logical decisions.

I do constantly huddle-up w myself on tough decisions but there isnt that inner voice talkin all that smack. I'd kick it out right away!

It tells me to fold KK when someone reraises all in. I never listen.
