hello cc people, to be a winning player you must have some kind of an edge over the other players as just playing optimally would prob just make break even[imo] whats your edge, please tell im all ears. :marchmell :stupido2:

At low stakes, I guess you could say it's as easy as ABC I'll let you decrypt that one for yourself.

I don't think people would be willing to give up their competitive genius. That's Kind of like asking for a recipe to make Coca Cola.

At tourneys, I would avoid the fishes and take on the sharks.
At cash games, its the reverse.

Psyhology, i know the situations, how each guy feels at them and what he will do with that stack, allows me to predict when i can bluff someone out or win them

Playing loose, and ultimately trying to become a good loose player, not a standard TAG. I dont really buy into the fact that playing abc TAG poker at the micros is going to turn you into a great player, or is definitely the right way to go about it, despite what a lot of people say. Playing more hands with fish is going to turn more profits and being more aggressive and unpredictable against bad/weak TAG regulars (which are frequently found at micros) sounds like a good idea to me.

Im far from calling myself a good LAG player, but that is my goal. Its the style I find to be most enjoyable and everyone says LAGs are the hardest player to play against, so why not strive to be good at that style?

constantly trying to learn and improve should give you the edge

if you study and look much poker you would have a small advantage, and so all you got to learn to steal the blinds, which is not easy .. besides having a little luck and above all, I think you got to have intuition ..

I primarily play 1/2 no limit holdem, and my edge is knowing the odds and percentages. Basically I'm very good at math lol

Mathematics. Look for a game with a positive EV and keep variance low (usually

banking management and looking for fields with players with very much leaks.

If you are playing tournament IMO patience is the most important thing.Try to avoid getting busted early in the tournament.Just wait for the monster hand and try to go all in against the bully.I think this method also apply in sit and go.It is called tight-aggressive strategy.in cash table you must build your own experience cause it hard to explain it here.
