whats most profitable at the micros. ive been playing cash and sng but the suckouts im getting are far to consistent and my bankroll suffers a lot. i no there is a lot of variance in mtt but because ppl r so bad theyd be going out quicker so if i last long enuf to middle stages the majority of the donks will be out so suck outs shud be less frequent. I played a turbo mtt and cashed by doing practically nothing.

I dont think the suckouts are going to change in any game that you play, they are all profitable if you know how to play them, so basically everybodys different, just find the type you enjoy the most and are the best at. All three types require different strategies. For me i prefer cash tables as when i get sucked out on i can simply reload, but i have to play 4 tables at once or i get bored. so find a game you can play and stick at it, practise it, read up on it etc but you can always dabble in the other types of games of course.

You must find the type of game you prefer and learn it . When you are succeeding and are comfortable then move to an other form. Do not mix forms at any time as the stragey is so different.

Hi,

I only play MTT NLH, and I avoid the micro stake games, they are just too loose for me. As for strategy, play tight agressive, in the long run it pays off. Usually I am playinig in a $5 - $10 entry fee tourney, the play is reasonable, so the chasers usually are out early, using a tight agressive strategy you can grab a lot of early chips is you get some strong hands , and if you don't then you can maybe grind it out to the bubble, because some of the lucky chasers are still going to be there, waiting to give back some of those long shot chips.

I think in the cash games the micro players are tighter than in tournaments, that´s why i think mtt´s are very profitable, but have a high variance...:(
I would prefer a mix !
