whats going on in Brazil?

is it just me or have you guys/gals seen a huge influx in players from brazil??? last night i was playing a 45 man SnG an i swear 14 out of the last 20 of us were from brazil??? just a fluke?

There have always been a lot of Brazilians especially in the micro sng's, but more than normal lately.

Be happy for it. Generally Brazilians are loose donks which is +EV for anyone sitting around them. I probably have a 100 hands on BB where SB Brazilian shoves to steal, I call and show a big pair and they show 24o. Thank god for Brazilians.

Brasilians are very solid players, but at micros they definitely don't :p :)
BTW I heard that brasil have a good economy nowadays, so that would be probably the reason of the "influx" of players at the tables in PS! :p

Oddly enough, yesterday i was playing a sng, i shoved with KK pre flop , canadian guy called with 24o (not kidding) and he won with 2 pairs.

Economy in Brazil now is the worst compaired to the last 20 years.
I think poker got really popular in brazil last year cause a november nine was from Brazil, and pokerstars signed with Ronaldo, the football/soccer player. Another thing was tv, once in while there is a ps commercial aired.

I like to play with brazilian's! They do so many mistakes like nobody else, exept romanian players.
Joke.
In fact every country have good and stupid poker players. Of cause, everyone like to play with weak enemy's. ))

Poker has grown in Brazil we have many players who represent well the world parents think we are the second maios world public only lost to the United States. To give you an idea until we have a school of poker led by professional PS Andre Akkari
