Hello and welcome. You might need to be a little more specific and narrow it down. Limit? NoLimit Holdem? Cash? Tournament?(SNG-single table or MTT-multi table tournament). Others may disagree but I don't think that playing online versus live is significantly different as far as basic poker fundamentals go.

For cash game i recommend Harrington on Cash Game and for tournaments Lee Nelsons books, and for sng´s the Moshman book.

To add to what Daniel72 posted:
NL Holdem - Cash (1) Cash Games in 3 volumes - Dan Harrington and Billie Robertie
NL Holdem - MTT- (1) Harrington on Holdem Expert Stategy for NL Tourn in 3 volumes
(2) Kill Phil and Kill Everyone - Lee Nelson et. al.
SNG (1) Sit "n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman.
Omaha - Pot Limit and Advanced Pot Limit Omaha By Jeff Hwang in 3 volumes
Obviously there are others but these 12 books should provide a solid foundation.

Honestly, youre much better off just signing up for a training site for even a month and DL a bunch of their vids to a hardrive for extended use.

Books are pretty decent for beating home game and 1/2 type players live, but people are-for the most part- well past that point online even as low as micro stakes online now.

Sad but true, books just arent of much use imho.
