For me it would have to be at a live poker tournament.
A few guys were teasing me cause they knew I played online poker.
They figured that was the only poker I had ever played. My dad had taught me
poker, and we played often. I lost a few chips to them. So I waited patiently for a hand. I was
on the table, of all men.

I was dealt QQ, and went all in when it was my turn. 2 guys thought they could be me. One turned over 6 6 the other had 10 9 suited. I had enough chips to cover so I wasn't very worried

I don't remember the flop. I do remember I took both guys out. They both
smiled at me and said "Well Played."

A guy on my right who was still in said. "They will have to think twice before
they decide to pick on an online player."

Queens are the best hand you ever won with?.. or am I misunderstanding the question?

I've hit a royal flush a couple of times.. I'm sure quite a few people here have.

Nice story, though. Welcome to CardsChat, btw :)

Haha nice. This could work both ways though. My friends play home poker probably once every 2 months and any decent online player would take all their money. I think the majority of online players are much better than "rec" home players. They get to improve their skills by having the ability to play anytime, while home games are harder to come by.

If anyone plays Halo, you'll know what I'm talking about. You play Halo by your self, then you get Xbox Live, and your skills go above the roof.

Anyways, I remember the most money I ever won was about $70 in one hand. I had a full house with 10 2 heads up. He had a piece of it, but I couldn't remember what he had. : )

~$1000 profit - 3 way action in a $2/5 game - all in pre flop with KK - which held up.

My favorite hand was wining a ~$800 pot when I called down a dude's 3-barrel stone bluff with bottom pair the whole way... possible strait & flush on the board.

I've made 2 royal flushes in my whole life, both online hold'em. The chances of doing that are around 1 in 600,000 and that was a year ago. I guess that means I've played over a million hands.

MY best hand comes in two parts. I was playing 2/5 no-limit and was doing alright, I had about $600 chips after starting with the max of $300. Guy to my right took f.o.r.e...v....e....r to make decisions (he has about $1200) and I even called the clock on him once, needless to say I was not his favourite player.

One maniac in middle position raises to $40 preflop, my guy, on the button, calls, I look down at A-A and re-raise to $120, maniac shoves all in for his last $200. I look at the guy to my left and say, please hurry up. He thinks for a second and throws away, face up AK. I flip over AA, maniac has 6-4 suited and I win but the flop came K-K-J which would have won lefty the pot.

Two hands later, I pick up 2-2 in the BB, another guy raises it pre-flop to $25 all in for him, SB (my nemesis) calls and so do I. Flop comes 4-4-Q rainbow, SB bets $30, I raise to 60 and he calls. Turn is a 2 !! GIves me a boat. SB bets $150 and I shove all in, he starts his song and dance and I give it to him - "Are you gonna take all night again ?" And he says "Fine, I call" and flips over A-4, river is a brick and I win over $1600 in one pot !!

Nice job with the $1600. It must be nice having 2 people bet into you when you have aces!
