What is your fav hand

Hi all, just wanted to know other than pocket aces what are your fav hands?? Like a good luck charm or pet hand.

Mine is 8-6. this is becuase in the first freeroll that i got cash in i was dealt it first hand of the tourney. I flopped a straight and doubled up. I went on to finish 6th in that tourney. It was a cardschat one at pokerstars.

It now seems that wheneveri seea flop with 8-6 i get something, ie today i hit a flush with 8-6 suited.

I knoiw i prob shudnt even seea flo with this, but it always comes thru for me...........

I like AsKs and TsJsQs on the flop ...

You can't imagine how pissed I am right now ... I had a player at the table (500$ prize pool tourney), that every hand was going all in
Clearly most of them were bluff .. he got lucky and already had 3K chips ...
Keep going all in, no1 calls until someone on the table calls ... he had 5 10, the one that called had pocket kk ... the idiot gets 2 pairs.
Aftere a couple of hands, I get AK and call him ... cards are being shown, he had a 3 and a 6 ....My exitement for caughting his bluff soon went away when the flop came al hearts and his cards were of hearts ...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA .... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???


So ... to be sure .. next tyme I'l only bet on royal flush ... mf :thumpdown

so play tight at the bebining

Pocket 6's. Seems to hit alot for me. But it comes back at me alot 2 heh.

10 9 spades is my fav hand... doesn't hit too often for me but i like it

Q 9 suited hearts is my fav for some reason it hits 98% of the time i play it and i win 75% of the time when it hits

No doubt in my mind, J 10 suited is the best deceiving hand in poker, you can raise with it, call with it fold with it. After the flop its easy to get rid of, but if u hit, its a great laugh beating aces or kings.

my favorite hand tends to be q9, also i like the hand that wins me money.

usaully they are good wnough but easy to get rid of when some one raises back big

i will say favorite cards are 9 and 6 in any order for some reason those seen to be really good cards... also it seen like i always lose with a pair of 10s

Fav hand has to be nines in the hole, first time playing my other friends talked a lotta smack said i was dead money, first hand i got 99 and was like alright fine im all in didnt really care what i was doin and my friend calls with QQ and i catch two nines on flop and every since then my fav hand has been 99, did pretty "good"(got lucky first time playin, however that was over 2 years ago) on that first night won about 150 bucks in a tourney game althought

My favorite hand is J 10 spades. It seems that i almost always hit a straight or a flush with that hand. It's very hard for me to fold when raised pre-flop.

i also love J 10 suited, its good stuff. The reason it is so good is because if you flop a straight it automatically is the nut straight. No other suited connector lets you flop the nut straight so many ways. 7 8 9, 8 9 Q, 9 Q K, Q K A. all four ways are the nuts

i have a thing for playing the minimum bet with a 10 4 off, i won a few and noticed a trend.....then i lost a few but i cant resist it. i hate folding to the full house and it and when it happens it sets me up for the next one....ive talked to my therapist and he says that in time i should be ok...but ill need a few follow up visits.....

The first hand i folded

The 2nd hand I got dealt pocket Jacks and called the first round of betting, everyone folded and some guy called all in, 1,500 chips.

I knew I could get a nice little start if I beat him on the flop. What would you guys have done? I called and went all in and he had A K and hit a K on the flop to beat me with a pair. I lost and was out very early but did I do the right thing? Was I unlucky?

K-10 suited has been very good to me. I absolutely hate medium pairs as I don't think I've ever flopped a set that wasn't hammered by a straight or flush.

My favorite hand is pocket 2s. Everytime I get this hand I get trips. I will bet big before the flop and play it till the river like I would with rockets.

Colin you did make the right move. The hands were pretty much a coin flip with you in the advantage. I hate to say it but poker is mostly luck. Goo luck next time and maybe you will be the lucky one.

Cheers best. Its strange to say it but even though I had lost I wasnt dissapointed cos I felt I had made the right move and said to myself if I was in that position again I would defintely make the same move and hopefully be a bit luckier on the flop, turn etc

Favorite holdem hand

Ace King suited is by far my favorite. I win with it almost every time I get it unlike AA which I have lost on again and again, no matter how I play it. The last three times I had it, I went the all in rout and lost to Q9 suited, J9 off, and 63 off. The J9 was later in a tourney and it was 70000 in chips bet. Couldn't believe they even stayed in. I hate AA.

No doubt in my mind, especially if its a small bet to see the flop. Very easy to let go and absolutly kills callers with A5 if they hit the straight.

Like Pocket Queens.... seems work well for me, no matter if I'm against rockets

as wierd as it sounds my lucky hand is 8/3 suited...
