In a live table, I am friendly and say "Hi!" when I enter the game and chat back if they talk to me between
hands. I don't talk about my hands or the game itself but chat about something irrelevant to poker. I'm usually not the one who starts the conversation but I don't mind chatting if someone wants to do so. But no matter how friendly I am, I still want to take everyone's chips
However, during the hand I'm playing, I don't usually say anything if they try to get something out of me. All in all, I am friendly there and respect my opponents.
online poker is another story. There I don't say hello to anyone and I might even be rude sometimes. I even scare myself occasionally with my attitude! For some reason I consider everyone as idiots unless they prove otherwise. The reason for that is probably the fact that you encounter much more trash talk online since people can't see each other face to face. Nowadays, I have tried to slow it down and try to keep my mouth shut no matter what.
