After watching the world series and listening to them chant "Riess the Beast" over and over, I thought to myself "I need a poker chant." So, if you had a poker chant, what would it be?

Mine would be CHAAAAAAAD WIIIIIIIICK. My name is Chad, and my friends like to call me Chadwick (even though it's not my name). So I thought it fitting.

I too have have had delusions of grandeur. I hadn't really thought that far into it though. I, of course, would have to check with my official rail captain, but it would probably have to be some kind play on the Buster Poindexter song "Hot hot hot".

Me mind on fire, me soul on fire
Feeling hot, hot, hot
Party people all around me
Feeling hot, hot, hot

Of course it would have to be changed to...

Something something poker, something poker
Feeling hot, hot, hot
Poker players all around me
Feeling hot, hot, hot

I'm sure my official rail captain would work it out and fine tune it with the help of my designated chant leader.

I have an intense distaste for loud rails that repeat chants over and over again. I would hope my friends would decide to respect my wishes and just cheer. Some witty rail chatter from time to time is OK, but after a couple hours most rail crowds are just loud and bothersome.

True they can be bothersome, but if you compare poker to other sports it's much less annoying. Imagine being in a packed stadium playing as a quarterback at an away game. That would be much harder to think than when people chant at a poker game.

Now, I will say this. Poker is a complete "thinking" game and sometimes chanting and noice can knock someone off of their game. But that's part of the game when you get to that level, so I figured why not embrace it.
