Hello all, I never really payed much attention to this at all (And it sounds ludicrous to be honest), but I can't seem to understand what is it about those different hours of the day that make players play differently...

I understand you don't play the same players over and over and that as the day moves on your more likely to meet different players that play differently...It's like asking why players play more (Tightish) on the week days vs the (weekend warriors), but that's exactly what I'm asking....

I just finished a session of 50-50 SNG's (30 of them), and the play was so odd/bizarre TBH that I didn't understand what made them do this/act this way...Yet then I looked at the time, and I was like (Maybe this has something to do with it)? Yet then again I said it can't be the time cuz that makes no sense at all...Or does it? Would 1 benefit from playing these odd/bizarre'o hours?

Put like this I play 9 games at a time

1 table was finished in 2 hands? (Yes 2 hands in a 50-50) Done I was I ended up finishing 2nd place (And folded both times)..

2nd table I busted 1st hand (1st hand was out) here's the hand that I went out with

And so forth so my question is does the hour of the day really impact players/are more crazies out at a certain a time of the day/night/evening?

I think that time of day/day of the week absolutely affects who/what type of player you'll be playing against. I'm in the US, so with our restrictions I think it's even more pronounced. Daytime hours traffic is slow and play is (relatively) good, as you move towards evenings you get more and more of the "recreational" crowd and play opens-up/ gets wilder.

I would imagine this is still the case at PS, though I haven't been able to play there for awhile now. It's just like if you go to real casino; daytime hours there is little action and the players who ARE there tend to take the game more seriously. At nighttime, especially Fri/Sat nights; anything goes, the room is usually packed, and you have a wide variety of skill levels/abilities represented.

Not saying that it's any easier on Friday night or Saturday night but when I talk about playing those nights with my Nephew or friends,,,I call it "Drunk night" Bad thing is sometimes those players get on a luck streak with their poor hands and there goes some of my chips. But overall, most weekends I come out a little ahead. Take care

All my big profits on cash game came after midnight, I like to start to play around 11pm because, for me, it's easier to beat.

On Pokerstars 'daytime' hours are not necessarily 'daytime' hours depending upon what time zone you live in. I would guess it has changed since you played on there. But there is still players from canada, mexico & brazil playing at what would be night then. I am wondering if it matters what time of day for Brazilians cuz they mostly seem crazy in the games I play in.
I heard it is better at night but when is night? I guess it depends.
I know that on Poker770 the traffic gets real slow after about 4pm where I live (which is 7pm ET & I think about 12midnite GMT and I guess more like 3am, 4am for Ukraine, Russia, etc. players but I am not sure exactly).
Wouldn't there be a few "crazy times" on sites that are open to USA players? (USA night time, & alos European night time too). But I do not see many European players on merge when I am playing on there but maybe it is because of the time of day I am playing which is usually after dinner here where I live and maybe a bit later than that.

I would guess if you were really wanting to try to figure out when the best time to find the crazies on the tables you would want to try to figure out what parts of the world it is around 7pm to 11pm (I think that is when alot of the newer players would be likely to be playing and maybe some of them are the crazies ha ha ha. I am probably one of the crazies now that I think about it even if it feels like they are).

I have heard that Friday nights and weekends have most crazies playing then. I hear it from a certain family member when they get sucked out on in tournaments ha ha ha.
