Do you have any examples of uncommon terms used in the poker slang?

The nuts. I'm sure there's a reason for it, but it's more amusing if I don't know what it is.

I heard Mike Sexton the WPT commentator use a term for three of a kind tens, he called it "Flint to Saginaw," which apparently he heard someone say in a random cardroom and has used it ever since. The meaning of the term is that it is 30 miles from Flint, MI to Saginaw, MI (this is my hometown so this is why it was funny to me.)

Well, now I had to look it up.

nut hand (the nuts)The nut hand is the best possible hand in a given situation. Players sometimes evaluate hands by ranking them as being the second nuts or the pure nuts.Heh heh. Second nut. Heh heh. Pure nuts.

So, from wikipedia

Origins

A common and certainly[citation needed] apocryphal folk etymology is that the term originated from the historical poker games in the colonial west of America, where if a player bet everything he possessed, he would place the nuts of his wagon wheels on the table to ensure that, should he lose, he would be unable to flee and would have to make good on the bet. Since it would be expected that a player would only make such a bet when he had the best possible hand, the folk lore says that this is how the best possible hand came to be known as the nuts. It is also rumored[by whom?] that these historical games were played only in the winter, and therefore, the nuts that were placed on the table were "stone cold", hence coining the term "stone-cold-nuts".[1]
A far more likely explanation[citation needed] is that "the nuts" originated from the old English usage of "nuts", meaning "any source of pleasure".[2]
Another seemingly fitting explanation is that the term was derived from the UK English slang "the dog's bollocks" or "the mutt's nuts", meaning "the absolute best". However, this phrase originated around 1949,[3] and the term "the nuts" pre-dates it.

So I don't know if there's any good explanation. But I do know that I like talking about my nuts.

i thought "the nuts" came from when people used to be so confident in their hand that they bet their carriage. and to signify that they were betting their carriage they would take the nuts and bolts off of the carriage and put it on the table so that everyone knew they couldnt bail in case they lost the hand.

Gutter ball, for inside str8 draw. I haven't googled this, but off the top of my head, a gutter ball is seemingly a bad thing, say in bowling, not sure why it is appropriate, here.

I laughed the first time Anna Kournikova was said for AK. Looks good but rarely wins.
