What do you think is more important in this case: the ability to quickly calculate the probability for certain cards, psychology and luck yet? Or maybe something else?

psihology, and luck..is the two most important factor for poker.
this is my judgement.
someone loves calculate first, without psihology, tactics, someone loves something else,..
there is no no precise tactics ..

Being patient and playing hands that have good odds to win. psychology is important as well getting good reads and guesstimates. It depends if you play online or live poker. I like to watch betting patterns when playing online poker and just going with my gut feeling.

Difficult to define in a few words , but something generic and direct as adaptation for me is fundamental !!!

I personally think that skill, patience and mathematics are the most important qualities a good player should have. Luck plays an important part of course but just like as it plays in soccer when someone out of nowhere in the last minute of the game scores an impossible goal. So Yes luck plays it's part but I'd like to think that it's not the most important factor. That's just my opinion...

Patience, experience, and the ability to adjust and play a certain way based on the way your opponents are playing.

It can be frustrating at times, but sometimes the best move is just to fold and sit back and wait especially against a table full of aggressive players.

The only way your going to get better at anything is with experience. You got to put in the time and effort in order to improve.

The last one is really important. In order to determine how you should play you need to see how the rest of your table is playing to see what is the best way to win. If your table is full of players who like to play a lot of hands and not fold easily than it's best to play tighter and when there playing tight you should get more aggressive and steal pots.

Besides the fact that you have to think about the cards, there are different levels on which you need to think about the players and the situation in general. The ability to share the thinking on these levels distinguishes good players from the bad. A good player is distinguished by a remarkable ability to understand the thoughts and guess his opponent's tactics.

A good poker player is different from the bad , that he is almost impossible to win a lot - it just resets the weak hands. Ask yourself the purpose to have been impossible to win a lot. Suppose you reset five times weak hand, even knowing that the opponent is bluffing, but the sixth will get stronger and recover all with a vengeance.

One of the things which they say is quite rare, is how in his opinion about the advantages we rely on simple assumptions. At the strategic level, we make assumptions about your opponent's range in a certain situation or about how an opponent will react to this or that action on our part, or to behave in a hydrochloric environment. We also make assumptions concerning psychology, although many of them closely linked to the assumptions relating to the level of strategy, and others depend on our subconscious image analysis of the people we encounter in everyday life.

But the most important assumptions are probably the ones that we make for ourselves. We can assume that we have an advantage in skill before a certain player that would be reasonable in some cases, and it is illogical to others, or to make the assumption that we have an advantage in skill in front of a whole field of a particular event or a particular composition cash games. We can decide that certain aspects of our personality traits or our playing style in this or that situation gives us a psychological advantage. But the big question is, how true our assumptions about ourselves, and here the theme of "invisible benefits".

The reason introspection poker so important is that in the absence of this kind of activity is a more important problem than in real life is a poker table. Perhaps the most obvious example of an aspect in which the poker table, you will need introspection, is the creation of the image. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to perceive our opponents playing style, to better adapt to the adjustment that we expect from them. For example, a lack of self-analysis, which prevent us to understand that our image fell apart after it was opened by our three barrel bluff may result from the use of extremely unfavorable bluffs in the future.

What I think makes a good player is one whom continues to learn, adapt and adjust to the table, players, and the game overall.

Learning starting hards and push/fold charts is great, but the game continues to evolve. More importantly, good players tailor their game to their opponent instead of just "playing their game" against every other player.

Haven't got a clue what bili says, but I'm guessing as it looks a bit like "kismit", Luck perhaps???

I think there a combination of a lot of things that make a good all-round player, however, I think the most important thing is knowing how to ADJUST your play dependant on how your opponents are playing.

If you can master that at least you will not lose a lot, or shouldn't if you are doing it right!!

Gl to you all and hopefully we can all be successful players...............:D:D:D

The mental aspect is very important. Know your strengths and your limits. Keep calm, analyze and adapt to the situations.

If you don't have that, you might as well burn your money.

Patience is one of the most important qualities that a poker player can have, but you should also have great observation skills, the ability to adapt to the players that you are currently playing. There are many more qualities that good, great, and professional poker players possess, but to me the most important quality is desire. Having the desire to want to improve yourself along with your game. The desire to keep learning. The desire to be the best.

For me, the best and most important quality a poker player should have is self control.

If you have self control, you will never go broke, you will controll stress situations, you will think better and probably you will have success.

For me a good play poker is one that could anticipate the moves of your opponents, have a good read of the table and the game. As in chess the winning is what applies the best strategy. I find that the basics for a poker player. Regarding the value to start playing and have good results is a $ 1,000 to play in tornoios PS with guaranteed prize pool.

Psychology and Calculation will win you more hands then luck, but luck can win you lots of chips. But luck is only in your favor maybe 3% of the time. What it does come down is to calculation and skill level of your choice hands.

a big bankroll, the ability correctly to use HUD and analysis of the game, everything else is not important.
