Is this a trap question?
I think that 99% of luck is involved and 1% of skill.
It is better to think like that because if governement begin to think that more skill is involved, then he will track and tax our winning like he did in Israel..

A skilled player his the one who relly on luck the less possible.

this is not true, if you have the option (decision) to bet or flod, and if you understand the logic of poker, you certainly have more skills and not luck.
It would be Lucky top players in the world always be on the final tables .. I think not.

Research Nanonoko.

If you play many hands and play very disciplined, you profit consistently. If you play not many hands and not very disciplined, of course more variance in profit or loss occurs.

I think this is 20% lucky, 80% skill. You can see the top players win more than others. They have skill, discipline, good strategy. I do not think it is all lucky

It depends, when you talk about 1 tournament, it's fully lucky, about 1 year playing tournaments, lucky is indiferent.

You can be the most experienced player on the planet
But if you are not lucky, the experience will not help you

I always believed that this was 50% skill and 50% luck, but recently, I realized that this is 99% luck, 1% skill

luck takes you to a certain point, then you have to have skills to get to the end, of course, a little luck does not hurt anyone hehe

What kind of difference does it make how much luck or Skill is involved? Luck is the same for everyone and as said above, if you improve your game, and play a lot, results will show. How high those will be is a question of skill, edge, call it however you want ^^

When good luck comes to you in the game it's good, but the skill is also needed to win and bluff in tournaments or in cash games, I think 70% skills ---- 30% good luck it perfectly matches in poker!

I think 85% skill and %15 luck

I'm inclined to think this is closer than the 80% luck mentioned earlier (op). If your pocket aces have 80% chance of winning a hand, with a large enough sample, that should hold true? Getting "unlucky" sucks, but isn't it a settled question that the variance balances itself out in the long run?

I do not know how much in percentage, but the skill, I think, is more important than luck !!!! if you have a lot of failures, try to take a poker coach, I'm sure that he will bring you luck)))

As luck would have it, we see many of the same faces at the final table on TV. I think that Mike Sexton has said in almost every WPT final table that to win a tournament, you must win the races....that is all about luck. One must manage their stack properly to get into a position where you need to take a 50/50 chance...my pocket 10s seem to lose more than win against A, K.
