I've had 1 in two years of online play, and never a royal. Tiloke, share some of that luck.

Also consider that a lot of hands that will make a straight flush will be folded preflop, or folded on a flop where you don't have odds to draw to it (although if I have a straight flush draw I'm sometimes willing to draw to it without the right odds just to see if I can get one :)). I've had 3 myself. 1 online where my pocket 3s hit one. Two in live play, one of which was a royal :)

I was beat heads up after a rather large SNG (180) with the other guy hitting a royal flush (hearts). I had the A high straight.

And this answers the question of the odds of a straight flush how?

Based on at least the 2nd two of Tiloke's post, I'd say he disagrees with you. I would love to see the HH of those to see the exact betting that took place.
