I have always loved to play card games as a child and a few years ago I had Sky and they had a channel called "The Poker Channel" I loved to watch Barny Boatman (I think that was his name) go to people's houses to play some poker. This one house in England (can't remember where?) played games like she was running a casino in her house, obviously she didn't have a
roulette table and she only focused on poker games. I was just learning about Texas Hold'em which they were playing, it was soooo fun to watch, they mixed up the games and she said "Now we are going to play Omaha H/L I was like, WTF is that
That was the best episode on that channel, so wish it never got pulled off Sky.
A few years later I decided to join Pokerstars and played play money games, and I was winning a lot, I thought to myself damn I'm good as I got my play money to about $30,000 from just playing ring games. I then started to play some freerolls and thought this is crazy everyone is shoving on their first hand
I only made a few cents here and there, but I was still made up that I cashed
Then 2 years ago, I joined the best forum, that showed to me all those years ago that I didn't win play money cos I was good, I was infact a donk and since joining CC I have made a nice BR starting with freerolls and just playing micros. I am so glad that I watched "The Poker Channel" and also really glad that I joined CC the best
poker forum ever!!!!
Sorry about the rant
