Hi ,

i am playing at a lot of sites and some like AbsolutePoker offer to put a image.

What do you think about this ?

I have a photo of my three year old son of which i am proud...

But there is some... OH MY GOD !!!

One , A baby with a Playboy Magazine and a lot of others which i have to block...

I am , maybe to i don't know , but some Images are so horrible that i get sick about it.

Jokes ok but to much is to much.

OR NOT ????

What do you think where is the limit ?

It doesn't bother me too much!!! I know on some of the sites you can block the images!! I seen one time,at absolute someone had a picture of their baby and someone made a comment to how could you put your child's picture on a poker site, but I see nothing wrong with it!!!

I find some pics to be so small that I can't figure out what they actually are. I think an image can say an awful lot about a person and it's a shame when people use vulgar things to identify themselves. I use a pic of my dog which is where i get my name from.

Some players might put a picture of a totally whore-bag as their image, but one guy said that he uses it to distract opponents subliminally. I said whatever dude and blocked it. Some of the images are funny, but if its obscene I just block it. However, I think most poker sites try and block bad images because it makes the site look bad if they let something like that get through.

Yeah some sites block the "bad images".

I block what i don't like now and i start to learn to don't care of it no more....

In the beginning i was like... oh no not again...

Maybe about my Teacher-wife ? She allways look that all is perfect and good for childs.... It's in my nature now....

Interesting

The only site I play on with said images is pokerstars, and those images need to be approved before being used. So I have never seen any horrific or graphic pictures as you guys are speaking about. Some of the pictures are funny or clever, and it adds a little bit of entertainment value, so I don't think it is such a bad thing.

Tony also at absolutepoker you have pics. They check it too but it doesn't work lol

I don't like a pic like : Baby with cigarette. Baby with Playboy-magazine.

I am a father of a 3 Year old boy and i am thinking of him and his future. Where we are going like this. The Trash Talk - This kind of Pics -

I know a lot of you guys are thinking different , but i love kid's and my little one is my pride. I don't want him to grow up in a world of Drugs and Sex.

It just go to far sometimes in my eyes.

I know that at PokerStars, if you want a picture up, you need to submit it to them via their software and it takes 1 to 3 days to get approved and have your picture show up. I have seen many strange and stupid things get put up by people, but the folks at PokerStars seem to do a good job of keeping the really offense pictures, as well as nudity, off of the site. I have yet to see anything there that meets the descriptions of some of the posts above.

as long as its not offensive I like pics, sometimes its easier to remember the pic than an id when you trying to keep track of ppl u play...the good and the bad.

I play once in awhile at poker stars and Absolute, and I gotta say - if you're going to post an image, make it something OTHER than your dog or your baby. OH MY GOD it gets old! Ever heard the phrase "a face only a mother can love"?

'Nuff said

I don't pay much attention to them but they should be respectful to the rest of the players. Peter said " I don't want my son to grow up in a world of sex and drugs." My parents used to say that all the time and I am 50 now so I guess it is kinda late for that. Do try to shelter him if you can but you know its part of life now and 30 years ago.

I will say this, I was playing a SNG at Poker Stars yesterday, and 2 guys kept battling each other over pot after pot. Started to bother me after awhile - it was "the mullett" vs. "the porn 'stache"!

Too funny!
